My domain is transferred away from Network Solutions to NameCheap without my authorization!

I bought the domain name TimeThief (dot) com via Network Solutions premium domain service on 11/27/2020, and today, I received an email telling me that the domain TimeThief (dot) com has been transferred away to another registrar (NameCheap) without my authorization.

I got no auth code request email or transfer away notification before the "Transfer Successfully Completed" email, I have also checked the spam box, and I am pretty sure that none of those emails delivered to me.

And the most weird thing is that I acquired the domain in less than 60 days, normally when there was a change Network Solutions would lock the domain for 60 days, but I got this domain name for only about 50 days... How could the thief steal my domain and take it away from Network Solutions in less than 60 days after my acquisition?

I tried to submit a support ticket in Network Solutions but it always failed... every time when I submitted the ticket it disappeared without a reason... Anyone can help with this?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
@bhartzer is your guy. He runs DNProtect.com.

I will give NameCheap management a heads-up while you get this sorted.

I can't comment on your case but I can say that NetSol 60 day lock doesn't work. I've transferred names away from them within 2/3 days of acquiring them there. Unfortunately NetSol are one of the poorest domain registrars around (with relation to UI and customer services). If @Rob Monster is helping in any way you're in good hands.
Good luck!

Thanks Rob for the help, I finally realized what is wrong with Network Solutions now.

I acquired the domain on 11/27/2020 and I tried to add it into my Afternic listing last week but it says that the domain has been listed on Afternic, therefore I went back to Network Solutions and noticed that the domain still showed available at the same price (and other MLS sites) as my original purchase price even when I have owned the domain for more than a month, it must be due to a glitch of Network Solutions and I was just too busy and I didn't think it would be a problem so I didn't contact Network Solutions for correcting it. Normally I would transfer out my domains from Network Solutions to another registrar after the 60 days lock.

Unfortunately it seems like that someone else bought the domain again via NameCheap before the end of the 60 days locking period and it was transferred out right away from Network Solutions because the fast transfer might still be enabled.

I really hope that Network Solutions will return the domain back to me ASAP or I definitely will take a legal action for it.

It has been more than a week, I still haven't yet received an official response from Network Solutions regarding my domain...

Never, ever do business with netsol. Too many stolen valuable domains and it's always netsol. I consider them a scam registrar at this point.

I don't think they will reimburse you, sorry.

I still got no official response from Network Solutions for more than 10 days....
their VIP support always replied me that their Fraud / Legal team is investigating the issue now...
so I am thinking to take a legal action against Network Solutions now, anyone knows what I can do when they keep ignoring my problem?
Does it work if I report the issue to ICANN or hire a lawyer to sue them? I just want to get my domain back...

Some time ago I was happy to see that Netsol finally offered 2FA. But when I inquired about it, I was shocked to hear that they actually were going to charge me for it... Unbelievable.

And then my support ticket got closed....

Is this a kind of joke? Anyone here can help with this issue? I just want my domain back but Network Solutions seems totally ignored my issue....
