Some were asking if Trump will show up at these other places. No, he's not going to go slumming. He was in real estate, he knows about prime locations and such.

Valid point.

Trump was more than willing to pardon some of the sleaziest white collar criminals in history. Did he pardon Joe Exotic? Hell no. That would be off brand.

Trump was more upset that Capitol mob looked ‘low class’ than about violent attacks, reports say

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ob-capitol-riots-poor-low-class-b1785099.html

Donald Trump was annoyed by the violent siege on the Capitol Wednesday — which left several dead — because it looked “low class,” according to his adviser. “He doesn’t like low class things.”

A lot of times people are working while damage control is being deployed ..... I think we may see a new social media platform toward the end of 2021 .... I think YouTube is solid ... TicTok not so much ..... while Twitter is shedding its skin from damage control efforts .... A new platform without a history ... battle wounds and scars could be a good thing ... I see Pintrest falling from grace in 2021 and Instagram holding steady... I don't do social media ... but i pay attention to it pretty steadily .... there is money to be made in the social media industry .... I am awaiting the right platform that provides the complete world of countries a steady and equal platform ... then i am going to buy stocks in social media ... the training wheels of social media are about ready to come off ..

Brad
He listened to many social advocates and praised for pardoning many African American community.
Just the other day, snoop dog thanked him.

I for one am glad Lil Wayne got pardoned.

Yes, those are not white collar criminals. There were quite a few more than reasonable pardons.

I am talking people like Shalom Weiss, Elliott Broidy, Fred Davis Clark Jr., and Steve Bannon. You would be hard pressed to find sleazier people, less deserving of a pardon or commutation.

I was glad for Little Wayne as well... He was packing a .45 handgun and got caught... He didn't want to end up like Tupac ..... Lil Wayne deserved another chance IMO

This is what it looks like when the WH makeup teams gives up...

I would rather not comment on looks, but very few women look that good when they are tired and not made up in the morning, as that pictures shows. Say what you will, but looks are not her weak point.

I think if we all could agree that Far Right and Far Left groups don't belong in our political affairs ... that would in itself be a great start towards keeping our disagreements out of the hands of people who could be radicalized and disrupt our country from advancing in negotiations to move forward.

Far Right and Far Left need to go join some sort of gang or motorcycle club or something.... although it may seem as they are little impact ... they have not only affected our political system... they have affected peoples lives and destroyed peoples resources and properties

There is something wrong with our justice system when you can serve 4 years in jail (out of 40+) while defrauding 1,400 people out of $300M. This scam wiped out the entire life savings of many people.

Meanwhile someone is serving life in prison on 3 strikes or a decades long sentence for selling a $20 bag of weed.

we have very very little level ground in our justice system ..... The 3 strike system simply does not work for us.. Until the system recognizes crimes by punishment this wont change..... the amount of corruption starting with police ...moving on to the jails ... the district attorneys.... the judges and right into the prison system has to be changed..... we have a long way to go to get the corruption out of all justice systems and instill ...fair and impartial treatment ...instill humanity .... stop the payoffs and much of it will cease .... in our current system... crime actually pays ... for all the institutions .... all the while a petty shoplifter becomes a victim of circumstance and their complete life is ruined forever .... it all comes down to Humanity IMO ...

You are right. And these people are pardoned or helped by every administration. Nothing new here.

And this is a national scandal (among many):

"As of June 2020, the United States had the highest prisoner rate in the world, with 655 prisoners per 100,000 of the national population. El Salvador, Turkmenistan, Thailand, and Palau rounded out the top five countries with the highest rate of incarceration."

There are no developed countries anywhere near the US in this regard. Even way ahead of Cuba. Twice as bad as Russia, 5 times as bad as China.

And this:

"Just Facts: As Many Americans Have Criminal Records as College Diplomas

The number of Americans with a criminal history has risen sharply over the past three decades. Today, nearly one-third of the adult working age population has a criminal record. In fact, so many Americans have a criminal record that counting them all is nearly impossible."

You can expect arrest and incarceration to increase under Biden and Harris, both of whom have a long track record in this.

Yet, amazingly, politicians and the wealthy rarely go to prison for their crimes.

we have to start working on our common ground... example: @bmugford and myself ... Brad and i have common ground on healthcare and the justice system .... we stop there... we have found common ground... we begin working on those issues.. not discussing further politics ... because we will lose that common ground over disagreements of other issues... that is easy to do... Brad doesn't have to ..or need to like me... we have found common ground on the issues of healthcare and the justice system... we can begin resolving those issues ..... we have to start solving issues as a country ... leave the rhetoric ... solve the issues on common ground.. then go back to fussing LOL.... At least something gets solved and people get help .. instead of continuing to stand in stagnate water and argue all the things we don't like while people suffer

because money is more powerful ..... everything has a price tag within a chain of corruption,,, the elite lobbyist in the US can pretty much run the gamut and never end up in jail .... our prison system is for profit now ... there is money to be made dwindling down to a entry level prison guard .... when the beginning of privately owned prisons began .... the money started rolling

And what really puts me off is when Americans joke about some guy (pedophile or otherwise) being celled with Bubba, who will administer some "prison justice." What kind of justice system sentences people to be beaten, raped and murdered inside prison walls? Either there is justice or there isn't.

Maybe they should be honest and have the judge say, "I sentence you to 5 years in prison, with regular intimidation, occasional beatings and anal rapes - with the chance of your sentence being terminated by your murder. If you kill anyone defending yourself against any of this, you may never leave the prison again."

Even in this thread, the healing has already begun.
No personal attacks so far on one whole page.
Both sides are agreeing on the real issues, not the propped up BS that we've been fed lately.

(just the facts, ma'am)
X said it.. let the far left and the far right go off and fight each other.

Lets get on with the business of living.

Peace, (really)
Kenny

Definitely notable.... well said Kenny (y)

Now if MSM could only follow along the same path, IMO the nation would fare better...not the drum beating kind, but rather, on point & conducive to agreement. News feeds transcend borders and the world is watching. :glasses:

You should really do your DD before you post.

These are from last August

Antifa are violent thugs backed by the democrat party. Let's not pretend democrats from Pelosi to Maddow haven't compared them to heros who fought in WWII.

You mean like the way you guys bitched whined about Obama and Hilary for the last 4 years?

No.. we told the truth about Obama / Hillary. If you had just spoken the truth about Trump instead of reposting outrageous slander, we would have hardly noticed.

Instead you took every opportunity to repost false accusations, scandalous reports by ( mostly fabricated ) anonymous sources.
