More unprecedented stuff today ... never in history has DC put so many military on the ground... apparently the politicians felt it necessary to do today .. the only thing that comes mind though?? While Kenosha Wisconsin was being burnt to the ground by Antifa and BLM ... Trump was urged not to send ANY national guard into Kenosha ? When a Seattle Washington had an autonomous zone completed .. Trump was urged not to send national guard in to break up the autonomous zone .... when Antifa anarchist were burning starting fires and attempting to burn down a federal court house in Portland Oregon ... Trump was urged to remove all national guard and federal police from Portland Oregon...

Although I know double standards have played .. and probably will be played up and coming ... this is a problem in the country that effects at least 50% of the US population

Here's some more reaction from people realizing they were in a cult. Anyone who still supports Trump or Republicans after all this really needs to get a clue.

Trumpees need to wake-up: Progressive economic policies are good for the economy, and good for society.

A simple example is "healthcare for all" - it lets people be more entrepreneurial, instead of having to find a job that has healthcare coverage. Entrepreneurship shouldn't be limited to people whose parents are rich enough to pay for healthcare costs if you get in a car accident or whatever health issue arises.

Are you insane? Just 2 weeks ago, there was a brainwashed cult who ransacked the congressional building looking to attack politicians, and even chanting things like "Hang Mike Pence!" (even built a gallows for hanging too) and some bragged about how they would have killed others if they had found them.

And they did beat a cop to death, and several other people died.

And in later weeks, lots of the nuts were talking about how they would kill politicians on Jan 20.

So yeah, it should be quite easy to that major security precautions were quite necessary today.

Sorry, the way you wrote it, it sounded like you were saying the big troop presence was unnecessary... I've seen some right-wingers use that talking point today.

But the big troop presence obviously was obviously necessary.

giving one race of people something

Now, if you are speaking to the Native American (of which I possess some blood) getting reparations, well then, I am all for that. :xf.wink:

One of my attorneys is full blooded Crow and is a very reasonable man. He recently showed me a 'schedule' of what the average Native American should receive...the numbers were staggering. Even at one tenth of the number it would bankrupt (even further) the US.

I am not saying whether reparations to any group is right or wrong, I am just saying there comes a time to move forward. My choice for president is not in office (he's not so bad, but the puppet masters behind him may not be squeaky clean) and I hope and pray he is able to hang on (mentally/physically) for his full term and can make some positive moves.

Well ... I will try to put this in the best wording I can trying not to offend anyone .

we can continue to revisit history constantly .... or we can honor those those who paid the ultimate price in the establishment of America non monetarily to individuals.. but yet to the whole nation of America ... remaining pissed and feeling monitory need on behalf of ancestors from the 1600 - 1700 - 1800 and even 1900s ... will continue to keep America divided and filled with animosity .. hate and anger .... we never have any control of the past ... we only control the future.

when I say Honor the people who paid the ultimate price for the establishment of America .. I don’t mean just acknowledge them once a year or something... I mean really acknowledge them all ... place names on large memorials in similarity to say .. the VietNam memorial ... but place them in all cities throughout the country ... statues .. memorials in all states of America paying respect to the people that had to die in America so America can be what it is today ... these were senseless and cruel deaths that took place ... but not to be in vein ... because of slavery ... the Native Americans ... the Asian people who were forced to build the railways .... the White men that died in a battle to free the slaves ... America’s generations learned and carried those lessons to make America better and make sure these events never happen again ..

None of these people’s deaths are in vein .. America defeated the evil establishments that caused these events .. Americans learned through generations from these victims what America wasn’t going to be and to forever to fight and rid such evil acts in the future ... not per individual... but as a nation
