Marijuana just needs to be outright decriminalized nationally. It is less damaging long term than tobacco and short and long term than alcohol.

It is not even close to the same class as other hardcore drugs.

it is extremely hard to get a felony conviction
Expunged ... once a person does their sentence and has cleared all probation or parole ... the conviction should be sealed and only available if the person repeats a felony offense ... I have talked to ...to many in jail that told me they came back to jail because they couldn’t make a living .. no one would hire them due to their conviction ... our prisons are not rehabilitation ... they are a stop to learn how to commit more crimes

Yeah, there are certainly times where prison plays a role but for usage crimes, with no underlying serious crimes I don't understand it.

You are basically ruining someone's life and ensuring that they are unlikely to ever be able to rebound. You are basically creating lifetime criminals and making the situation worse.

Texas has loosened up on marijuana... under 1oz is a misdemeanor... usually a ticket .. over 1oz is a felony ... so there is much work to do still on that .

the thing that sticks out the most ..... the penalty between crack cocaine and powder cocaine.... they are the same drug .. crack is just cut different and is actually less potent.. crack used to be found in predominantly black neighborhoods... crack carries a higher penalty than powder cocaine ... there is no making sense of the penalty differences

its sink or swim for many ... when they get out ... most don’t want to go back .. they want to start a new life ... but so many are forced back into criminal activity to be able to live .... without reform of the complete justice system ... police ... jail .. prisons .. courts ... we are dooming our own society ...

Yeah, that is a good example.

That is a systematic issue. The system itself is biased and makes no sense.
There is no reasonable way to justify the different treatment for the same drug.

I am a Patriots fan. I have been since I grew up in that area as a young kid and they sucked.

With that said, no coach deserves the Medal of Freedom. Awarding it to people like that, or political commentators like Rush Limbaugh cheapens it. It should have a much higher bar.

We can get better as a society ... that even if the politicians in DC don’t cooperate in helping .... listening and understanding each other will afford us to take care of each other ..... not on a political ... race ... religion or other basis ... simply on a human basis ... not to be friends or fall in love with each other ... just respect one another as human beings ... have some compassion and willingness to help each other when in true need without prejudice.... it seem like a very hard feat right now ... but things can change for the better of humanity ... it’s really all up to society to make the decisions for the future ... not wait on DC to do it for us

No, they actually filed suit vs her after she refused to withdraw her lies.

Fox News, NewsMax, American Thinker and others withdrew or ran corrections on their lies.

Trump, My Pillow douche, Rudy, OAN are likely to face civil defamation suits as well.

They have no real defense. They were clearly defamed using empirically untrue information.

Things like they are owned my SmartMatic. They had a meeting with Hugo Chavez two years ago. They flipped votes.

I think Trump followers is highly misconstrued and has been for a long time ... there is a Trump base of course .. but there is Republicans that are not part of that base .. such as myself .... I was an independent until this election ... I am now a Republican ... I felt the pressure to go ahead and join the Republican Party due to my disagreeing with the Democratic Party allowing and condoning the progressives within the party ... but more importantly listening to their demands and adhering to progressives thought process on Socialism and progressive politics that do fit within our system . Changes to our current system are not an issue with me ... adding or taking way isn’t the issue with me ... my issue are people who think that converting to a system of Socialism written in the 1800’s ... we can do far better than that ...

Can you define what you mean by "socialism" exactly? It would help to know what your specific definition is.

Many people are against the boogeyman "socialism", but when polled about actual policies to do with healthcare, education, etc. they support what could be considered socialistic policies by a wide margins.
