Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!

The changes look very good. Unfortunately they seem to have dislodged the working order of other services. Lock/unlock isnt working properly. Transfer codes not working.

I stopped sending in support requests because it takes too long to get an answer so I just wait for somebody else to report things and hope they get fixed.

Nick, at the very least, put a support form on the site that requires all the account specifics your people need in order to look at an issue. The constant reminders of what you need is a little silly when a forced form will make sure you get what you need most of the time.

One last thought. The sales pages badly need a "Make Offer" spot imo.

nameservers not resolving correctly today, showing blank pages. Also, yesterday i pushed a domain to another sav account, they did not receive it, though the name has left my sav account. Seems the name is lost somewhere in the pipe.

none of the new bulk changes working for me. ( i tried nameservers and auto renewal )

I just replied back to your DM.

We did experience some issues with bulk domain updates getting stuck in the queue over the last 24 hours. This blocker has been removed and the system is going through and re-processing them.

Hi, i have just registered my first domain with Sav tried to get auth code and got: Unable to get auth code. Please contact support.

tried to disable autorenewal, unlocking the domain but nothing.. wtf

A General PSA for this thread:

We value the NP community very much and are happy to take a look into anything that does not seem right. As much as we strive to be a flawless company, bugs do come up, documentation can get out of date and specific events combined together can cause an outcome that was not expected.

We are not able to determine what your Sav account is solely based on your NP username and do need to know your Sav account to take a look. When you do see something that seems odd, instead of posting the details on here, then us asking you to DM us the details so we can take a look, just DM us the details directly - it will shave off a bunch of time and result in a much faster resolution.

Ever since the update my expired domains have disappeared from my account. Has anyone else noticed this problem? If so is there a way to retrieve them? Even the ones that expired 2 days ago aren't showing up...

There is a common problem that many people seem to be having, so please see if you can look at the at a global level.

many of the domain are not resolving to the landers.
Nameserver update is also not working even at individually.
Not bulk, but I cannot update nameservers.

I already raised a support ticket but I didn't get any email, maybe due to the volume of emails, which I understand.

But the nameserver not resolving is an issue many people are facing.
Please loo into it ASAP/

I am posting here because i don't think it is a account specific issue

I have tried to add start multiple domain auctions and get the message:

start time must be in the future

no idea what that means since im not setting time.

Same here, I guess I have to raise another ticket. In addition, nameserver change as a function is still not working at all. If these major errors are not solved very soon, it may be worth forgetting the bulk functions forever and return to the old system (that worked).

Hello All,

A few general updates based on messages/posts on NP and us reviewing the logs on our end.

Over the weekend, we have seen an unprecedented amount of domain updates come through. This is naturally due to bulk tools making this process so much easier. Currently there are a lot of updates still sitting in our processing queue. We are working on being able to permanently process them much faster throughout the day today.

Caught Backorders - We are aware of an issue where caught backorders from Friday - Sunday are not showing up in customers account. We are working on this as well and should have it resolved soon.

We do have some DMs as well. I'll be responding back to those shortly. If you come across other issue, please reach out to our support team as usual.

If you value your time, avoid SAV.com at all costs. They seem to have great prices and I'm sure they try to offer a good customer experience but the problems and limitations you will experience on their platform just aren't worth your time and energy.

After having spent at least $400 on their platform, I still can't bid freely on auctions. Every bid I make needs to create an immediate charge or authorization on my card or paypal. This wouldn't be a serious problem if they allowed you to make more than 2 transactions per day(in my experience at least, this seems to be the limitation).

In particular, earlier today I tried to register a domain for about $33, I used paypal, they authorized the amount but weren't able to register the domain. I received an email telling me to try the transaction again, I did, the amount was again authorized but the registration was unsuccesful. A few minutes ago, I tried to make a bid on an auction but the usual message came up "Payment method was not able to be pre-authorized for the bid amount."

When I first registered there, I even proposed to prefund my account in order to get verified and be able to bid on auctions, I never received a clear reply on anything. I still don't know if there are limits on my account, what these limits are and what needs to be done(i.e. how much I should spend) to overcome them.

Worst registrar experience in my 6 domaining years.

I had a similar issue. I found out that my bank blocked my card due to suspicious frequent transactions at this platform. Of course it will ... if these guys will need to "preauthorize" ( never heard about this practice before ) and charge your card 10 times on each auction. Now multiply that by the number of domains that you are bidding on. WTF.

Exactly, it's just a matter of time until this creates problems with payment processors. In addition, the same problem happens to me regardless of the payment method, I've tried both with a card and with my paypal balance.

Okay, I start losing my temper. Not very long ago I was very happy with Sav, because it was a pleasure registering a domain. It was extremely fast. Now it's not the case. I registered a .com domain 10 minutes ago, and it still cannot be found in my account. I've received the message from Paypal, but the domain is not registered. The transaction is not on my transaction list either. How could Sav change from the best registrar to the absolute worst in a few days? This is getting ridiculous! If the bulk functions are not working at all, that's one thing, there can be hiccups, but if a domain registrar is not capable of registering a name, that's just sad. I won a domain on Sav auctions yesterday - the name is still not in my account. Sav captured 2 domains for me an hour ago - the domains are still not in my account. A nameserver change takes half a day. I can't express how disappointed I am.

I believe they are working very hard. They will fix these issues in a short time. I am very happy with Sav. Keep up the good work!

Hello All – We have cleared up the issues slowing down the domain processing over the weekend and all updates are processing as we speak. They should be completed in the coming 12 or so hours.


@Kostas – We would be happy to take a look and see why the system is pre-authorizing all the bids on your account. Due to payment method security reasons, please DM me your Sav Ticket number/email address and we can respond back with specifics on the ticket.

@kaposztam – We do apologize about the delays in processing domains over the last 48 hours. We have gotten the cause for the delay fixed and are moving all domains that still need to be processed through the system as fast as it will go right. If you do not have domains in the next 12 hours, please submit a support ticket and DM me the number so that I can take a look and ensure it’s looked at first.
