NameBio.com does a fantastic job every day in the industry pulling together the available domain name sold data and sharing it publically for all to view, I thought what might be a little bit of fun to start a thread here on NamePros and allow you all to rate a selection of the domain name sold...

I am wanting to keep it a simple format and I hope you enjoy it...

My idea is a format such as the below, The below is of course completely subjective to everyone's owns opinions, you can leave your feedback as to why but here are my thoughts on these three domains names

Expensive (Over Market Price)

Good Price (Fair Market Price)

Cheap (Under Market Price)

AAF.com - $80,150 - Expensive
TaxLawyers.com - $15,501 - Cheap
Air-Conditioning.com - $1,850 - Cheap

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
-Hi

what is market price and where is this market?
is MP some number that's certified, on the day one decided to say "this is the market price"?

also, if there is a market, which market did these names sell on or in, and how many bidders participated in each.

or, were these names sold on a marketplace, but not in an auction?

and out of those, were they BIN sales or negotiated?

still, i hand regged taxlawers.com but dropped it for lack of earnings
and i'd rather have air-conditioners than air conditioning
as for aaf, again, what market?

imo.....

It will not work forever.
When you are buying - it's expensive
When you are selling - it's cheap
You can sell AAF.com to a small company for $50,000 or to a big corporation or $500,000
