advice Still trying to understand .CO Here's An Available Domain

So, I am still trying to wrap my head around a good .CO strategy.

I am going to provide an available .co domain, but if you decide to Register it please do your due diligence.

I will provide metrics below:

Domain : FlyBack.co
Taken in pretty much every extension BUT CO
About 20 companies listed in OpenCorporates that have this term: FlyBack in their name
The term 'FlyBack' appears generic enough, right?

Here is where I get confused: On Uspto.gov, there is a Live TESS record for the term 'FlyBack' so, in general I would probably avoid registering this domain.

However, the EXACT strategy that seems to be generating the most CO sales IS registering this type of name.

Again, this is not any kind of recommendatio at all, but this real life example illustrates why I am confused.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

OK.. when I am buying .co, I am looking at 100+ TLDs taken and 100+ open corporates results
So this name doesn't even cross those boxes,

27 TLDs is nothing for a two word .co
Some rare 1 word is fine, but 2 word is hard to sell unless very strong and like 150 TLDs taken
I am only looking at 1 word unless it is a really strong word

The ones that you see sold are more like lottery. You buy 1000 names for 99 cents during a pormo and some will sell if you use some clever filtering criteria

I also registered about 1000 names in the .co promo for 99 cents and I didn't have time to look through everything like trademark and I don't have bulk Linkedin lookup, so I do by 30 TLDs taken and then apply some quick eyeball to to remove obvious trademarks.

So, lets just say this term 'FlyBack' did return 100, 200, 300 results.

Would you still Register it seeing that there is a live Trademark (TESS) record?

Perhaps there is a deeper conversation or question here: Are there any terms too generic to be considered Trademarked?

What if words like: Blue, Sales, Poker etc start being issued TMs?

I guess, although I do appreciate your detailed response, it still doesn't answer the exact intent of my question....

I ma not a trademark expert but when you look at brandables with a wide range of potential options, I look to see if there are already trademarks specifically, but in a different way. It is a bit more nuanced. I will not register NikeSHoes.co but if a generic name has trademarks in various different categories, it is fine. Of course UDRPs can happen to all domains. Many successful domainers face UDRPs all the time.. Or look at it this way, UDRPs are usually against very popular domainers who know this shit.
Now sure how else I can explain. There is no generic answer. I look at it one at a time.

In case of doubt, i will leave it alone.
