Just want to share mistakes that Newbies normally make from my experience - Do not attack. Remember this one is for Newbies Only.

1. Most of Newbie's mistakes are buying/registering cheap names based on Estibot/GD Appraisal as you are afraid to invest in expensive names. These appraisals mean nothing if you don't have a Buyer.
2. There are some analysis which made up by Domainers/Resellers but it means nothing when it comes to selling to end user. The Domain Business is a weird business and it does not look like any other businesses on the market. When a user wants a name, they want the name. It's not the same like when you buy a car or a house which you have choices.
3. There are two markets in the Domain business: a. Domainers/Resellers and b. End Users. Domainers/Resellers come up with some guidelines (Estibot, Past Sale, EMD, Search Results, etc...) but these guidelines don't work when it comes to end users. Example: a LLL.com may be sold from $15,000 to Million of dollars depending on who the Buyer is. Also the price that you sell to a small company is different from the price you sell to a big corporation. So don't spend too much time on these guidelines as they don't really work. Ex: If someone sold VaginaReview.com for $50,000 it does not mean that TitsReview.com will be sold in the same range. BTW, there is an active site for Penis Review.....
4. Do not BEG for appraisal. Most likely the names will be crap names as you don't want to spend a lot of money for the first time.
5. Since you are new you need to build your reputation and buy/sell liquid names (LLL, LLLL names) so other members can check your trader rating. Also it's easier to sell these names to other Domainers if you need money.
6. Spend time to read before buying anything or asking questions. Chances are all the questions have been asked here with all the answers.
7. Forget about selling names in the $1 auction. You will waste a lot of time and lose money to collect a couple of dollars.
8. Do not post "PM me the price" or asking for more information in the public. Send PM/DM instead. By posting your question/interest in the public, you have more competition than sending PM/DM.
9. Don't spend the time to register new names. There is a reason why it's still available (junk/crap names). Check for expired names or cheap names from the forum instead.
10. Your time is valuable and trying to spend the time to learn and doing business instead posting nonsense questions to collect "LIKES" (How many names do you have. What's your best name, etc...). more "LIKES" does not mean more money.
So....
STOP ASKING QUESTIONS before READ READ READ and BUY GOOD NAMES

Good luck!
