As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

i n f o r m a l . u s

- sold for $232, buyer contacted via email, paid via Escrow transaction, after a week long negotiations
- registered for $2.49 with Dynadot
- hold time 11 months

{This domain was listed by old owner with minimum offer of $99 on Afternic, that's why Afternic did not allow me to list at that time (and I have many such domains on Afternic, I guess I will have to provide ownership proof for them to de-list and re-list to be in control price-wise). So buyer initially offered $99, even though the Dynadot lander stated $653 BIN}

Domain: One /// work(.)co
Sale price: $595
Sale venue: Dan
Purchase price: $3 (handreg)
Hold time: 9 months

It was a pleasant surprise to notice this new sale today morning :)
Maybe I undersold this one, but I think it's a fair price.
It seems it was worth registering .co-s when the reg fee ($3) was a bit higher than during the usual promos ($1-2) :)

Domain: CuteDrawing.com
Sale price: $299
Sale venue: Epik
Purchase price: $69 (JustDropped.com) @ July 2020
Hold time: 6 months

This is the first domain I ever bought :) I didn't have much experience when I purchased it as $69 is an expensive price for it :) buy anyway I'm satisfied with this deal

Good afternoon.

You don't necessarily have to prove ownership of a domain name to have it removed by Afternic. The previous owner should have removed it when it was sold.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page at Afternic just click on 'contact us' then select ' client services' and fill out the contact form they should remove the duplicate entry so that you can add the name to your portfolio.

Please be advised that at present this is taking about 10 days due to staff working from home etc.

I hope that this is of some assistance to you.

Regards,

Reddstagg

SquadHelp said they had tried to negotiate on price. BIN was around $2,399....Strange, if buyer is a bank though.

yes, if a bank, you oversold this; and if an investor, you missed a chance to sell higher to end user :D

I guess vice versa...If buyer was a bank, I then undersold it. A bank would be an end user...:xf.smile:

Congrats..

Inspired by your xyz sales, I regged a few & sold a short first name, SIAN.xyz last month for $45 after a $20 inbound offer. Not as much as Samir.xyz :xf.grin:

It was via EPIK lander & I gained $6 extra after transferring it to BTC via masterbucks..

Sometimes banks have limited budget for a project. When I sold one///bank dot eu to a bank, their maximum budget was $1000 (BIN was $1500).

Domain: S/w/a/n/k/y(.)eu
Sale price: 299 EUR (~$364)
Sale venue: Sedo
Purchase price: $0.99 (handreg)
Hold time: 3 months

I can't believe it. 3 sales in 4 days. This was truly a surprise, as I was thinking about leaving Sedo after a few weeks (as I had a .eu sale on Dan a few days ago, and I wanted to put my domains back there). Fortunately, I didn't take any action, so this domain could sell. I didn't even know what s/w/a/n/k/y meant, I had to look it up in a dictionary :) I'm very pleased with this sale, and Sedo's 10% commission is very nice. In addition, they finally started calculating VAT in a correct way (only after their commission, not after the total sale price). I guess I leave my .eu domains there.

Congrats...
Did you apply for sedo LMS premium or you just add their sale lander without any promotion by yourself

All I did was to add their nameservers, and I think I applied for Sedo MLS.
