First, GD is my favorite registrar so far.

Second, they do have bunch of bugs and the fact that they don't go away for months and years while new ones pop up regularly just baffles me.

Anyway, in this thread I will be posting the issues I am having and hopefully with the help of the magnificent @Joe Styler something starts happening.

So, the fresh one:

For about one week now, in the GD new interface, I select certain sorting of the names (let's say by appraised value) and it shows me first 500 names, then if I click the arrow for the next page, it gives me the rotating circle saying "loading" that won't go away for hours (yes, I have tested, while doing something else).

What worries me is that the new interface will become the only one, while it still lacks most of the functionality of the old one, but that is another thing for now.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Thanks for your patience the support team is having to manually look at each name to see if they can fulfill it or if it needs to be refunded.

Well, it seems odd that even though the domain is with GoDaddy now, it wasn't possible to fulfill this order.

I would have preferred the domain over a refund. But I will accept it, the way it is.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying.

I thought my case was already decided once I received the refund notification, but the domain landed in my account a day later. I even kept a refund for the domain renewal and only had to pay for the closeout itself.

Everything solved to my satisfaction. Thanks again!

@Joe Styler

A small suggestion for GD auctions,

For an already logged in member,
The DEFAULT CURRENCY
setting here

https://account.godaddy.com/profile

(default currency is here already while no default language setting yet(needed to add by a UI guy))

should have a higher propriety than web browsers language auto detection every time when logged.

@Joe Styler

A small suggestion for GD,

Domain Registration Defaults here should apply not only to new registered domains,
but also to incoming pushed domains(including won domains at GD auctions) and transferred in domains.

https://mya.godaddy.com/settings.aspx?settingstab=buyerprofile

This is a tricky one. The (default) buyer profile includes NS settings. When transferring my own domains between registrars, I'd like to have nameservers generally untouched. When winning, or otherwise getting a domain into my account, I'd like my default NS settings applied. I agree some improvement can be made here, but it's about the details.

@Joe Styler @Paul Nicks

Could you please check the new bug with Godaddy when the listing status turns into "Not available" for all names before you can do anything? This ajax thing definitely doesn't work for many features, like when scrolling the names bottom ones don't populate any other fields except the name itself (old bug reported over a year ago).

The latest issue is really disruptive for me, as I get tens of new names daily and I am relying on this interface to know which names to list.

While at it, fix already the ns5/ns6 issue when lots of names don't get the BIN displayed. When you own thousands of names, it is very cumbersome to check one by one, which ones are showing the bin and which ones tell the customer that it MAY BE for sale.

If you are rolling out a product, why not to make sure that it is actually working and how hard it can be to actually pull the BIN info from Afternic and populate the lander properly? I mean you have a huge team of IT guys working for you and I assume even an intermediate level programmer should be able to handle this?

Same issues here. For about 2 months now, buying domain names feature not working. Now when I go to view my domain names, says trouble loading. I have hundreds of them. so frustrating.

I am having that issue again. Second page won't load.

@Joe Styler

Please check what is the issue. It has been going on for days and I cannot manage the names to change nameservers, list, renew etc.

@Recons.Com can't you just switch to classic view?

Cheers

No, because I can't sort by the ownership date for many things including listing.

I use the classic view for renewals though

switch to classic view?
There was a way to switch back to previous view, via some secret link, but it stopped working long time ago :( Do you know the current link? It is not about beta (did not try it), but the previous domain management view like it was in 2017 or 2018...

For bulk management purposes, I now simply copy-paste the list of domains in a search box. Selecting all found domains works then. This way, there is no need to navigate or switch pages... At least, it worked in August (I renewed a bunch of domains in bulk before the price increase).
Also, GD may not work if a "common sense" browser security config is used (adblock, anti-tracking, extra hardening etc.) so I ended up with installing a separate clone of chrome just for godaddy. Installed vivaldi browser for them and allowed all spying, cookies, ads... A barely acceptable confing, but, since it is for GD only (the whole browser), let it be so.

Don't think so. I only toggle to the classic version when in GD Auctions. Also I don't attempt bulk management.

Why some of my domains show "Check for typo..., If spelling is correct try Windows Network Diagnostics and Reload" Even checked with Godaddy Guide. Still the issue is not sorted out since last few months.
How to resolve this issue?
Thanks.
