the (.gg) domain extension has widespread adoption within the gaming community. ".GG" which stands for "Good Game" is frequently used to for eSports teams and gaming startups in particular.

Here are a few sales on Park.io last month (October 2019).
Hero.gg - $2,134
Mobile.gg - $401
Reflex.gg $104
Doom.gg $130
Cloud.gg $1,020
Dating.gg $385

I expect as the gaming industry continues to mature and more startups emerge, we'll see some decent end-user sales in the .gg domain extension.

Earlier this year Bet.gg sold for $8,503, and Super.gg was sold for $7,500 at the end of last year.

I expect there have been more private sales to end-users but that's just speculation.

gg is used in esports.... by esports organizations.
the crypto one to me is something out of the category and the VR one could make more sense but i feel that who want a gg want a 1 word brandable domain.
this is my opinion btw...

Thanks, if you search google news you'll see that esports is already moving into virtual reality. Same for cryptocurrency.

Not everyone likes getting ripped off by GoDaddy. Dynadot renewal is 60. Still pretty high but if you have a dictionary word it could be worth the renewal.

Anyone else having a probem getting you .gg names past review on afternic??

Everything was fine, until I dropped a few and renewed some others

Now this just want get listed on Afternic via GoDaddy?

I've removed and relisted, which usually works, this time it's not working.

Did Afternic or GoDaddy change something .gg ??

I've removed and relisted a 3rd time now and STILL stuck in a review, and the support team as not emailed me back. What's going on here, worked fine few months back

@Joe Styler can you shad any light on this? In the past afternic support gets back to me in a few days...it's been 2 weeks

They are behind still unfortunately. We had a bunch of illnesses at the same time combined with the holidays. They are working extra to catch up asap.

Yes, I dropped, renewals aren't cheap so only kept a few.

Thank you! As far as I know, these two sales are unrelated. They buyers (end-users) are different and both sites went live almost immediately after the domain was transferred.

I have around 60 .GG domains in total - so it surprised me to see these two sales within the same month.

Has anyone had any issues with transferring out .gg domains to other registrars? i've got 2 names pending sale but having issues with the auth codes being incorrect.
