To Mask or not To Mask... is there even a question?

Hello Mods and Mems,

Well here we have it. Mandatory mask wearing in public.
Now most of you that know me understand that I am not the kind of guy that welcomes new laws...
infringement on personal freedom... that kind of stuff.
However, their are some laws that have been passed in my lifetime I believe are just plain common sense.

Car seats for kids.
Seat belts.
No riding in the back of pickup trucks.
No smoking in public places.
Stuff like this saves lives.

Wearing a mask in public is not so much for your own protection, but for the protection of those around you.
This is not my opinion. According to the medical professionals, this is a fact.

Lets hear from you.
Without turning this into a political pissing match, those of you who believe against wearing masks in public, please justify your position.

Please keep it civil... no personal attacks.

I'm selling Christmas Masks in my store, in addition to wearing a mask to not die, so I am helping the local economy by reselling locally made masks. They are pretty cute, too.

I think a mask should be highly recommended but not government required, in my opinion people should be advised to wear a mask in public (even outside unless they are eating), and we should leave the requirement of wearing a mask indoors at stores up to that store's policy. I am not for a national requirement that punishes people for not wearing masks, but I agree to the idea of wearing masks. Although at this point it won't help that much but not a bad idea in my opinion.

On a local level in my city - with my own eyes - I see hospitals are NOT overcrowded.

And in my home county? 138 total deaths since the PLANDEMIC started. This low, yet suspect number has barely ticked upwards for many months. And we have a very large older population.

I know you can pass the series of IQ tests being discussed.

Science is unsure if the virus is still transmitted even after vaccinated, which means we may still need to wear masks. I won't post links, if interested, you can search and find conflicting information online.

The Hospitals might look empty, but the ICU beds are filling up fast, and in some places patients have to be transferred to neighboring Hospitals.

I don't understand how as a medical professional you are not aware of the influx of the Coivd patients that are currently overwhelming most of the medical facilities.

This is not what I see in the world around me.

People are not sick with covid.

The entire foundation of "covid" is still not scientifically sound because it's never been identified.

The PCR test doesn't actually check for a virus or infection - it basically takes a photograph of amplified genetic material.

I hear the news parroting "tests" - which mean nothing scientifically at a core level.

The burden of proof there is a virus/pandemic is actually being shifted to the governments in some areas legally.

The lawsuits to restore integrity and balance in our country are in progress.

But you didn't give a satisfactory answer as to how you justify the spike in the number of Doctors and Nurses (and other healthcare workers) who have died from the end of 2019 onwards when Covid came around compared to the previous years. Are you denying that it's because of Covid.

I require masks for my store. Today a guy forgot his mask and the lady behind him, seeing he had no mask, turned around and left the store and drove off. When you do not wear a mask, you put me at risk, my family at risk, my business at risk.
