I've listed these two domains in 7 days Godaddy Auction two days ago and still have zero views;
i though the names would be of some interest to some angelic charity work/technology websites etc. but i guess unless you pay for extra visibility there's no catch huh

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There’s no catch huh
You think you can just register reg fee names,list it on gd action and win. Far from that easy. Step one is buying quality names that others would buy.
better off buying godaddy stocks than investing in a paid auction

Were those good amounts at auction? If so did you research the traffic. Chances are they all played the waiting game where you don't need to sell in 7 days.

Most of the names you see with bids at places like afternic and sedo were "make an offer" type names which were sent to auction after already receiving interest. So that makes people think, "wow, someone bid $3200 on this name! Let me list my names too."

In truth, self-listed names rarely ever sell, and if they do it is for well below market price.

  • Waiting for people to buy is a bit passive
  • Do some publicity for your domain name, such as selling pages

  • hope it helps :xf.smile:

Better choose Namepros for your auction. You do have all the controls and there are many potential buyers here. Good Luck!

Godaddy show it's expired domains only any other domains no one see and also you will need to pay to be seen as many sites

paying extra means nothing if u dont have good names.

good names always generate bids. people know their stuff.

the question is do u want to risk auctioning to high bidder good potential value name u may sell for more via bin or offer down the road.

the answer will be no for all those who do not need quick cash now..

all in all we cant expect to handreg a name for few bucks.. or buy with 1 bid on some auction..and sell for 100 via auction bidding war .. domaining is way more complex and hard than this
