advice Fully Deleted Domains - Any Gems?

Watch
I recently started looking at ExpiredDomains . net

I don't have the time (or money) to fight over the better expired auction names so I decided to focus on domains fully dropped/deleted.

Went through about a hundred .coms last night. Mind you, I am not looking for domains making dollars per day, just maybe 25 - 50 cents at most.

Most looked like blacklisted domains or domains with lots of suspicious incoming links having chinese or arabic characters.

So my question is:

1- Is it still possible to find any domains this way from the fully deleted list or is bidding big money in the auctions the only way nowadays?

Thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Surprised nobody commented on this, yet! I am not looking for any secrets just to know if I'm wasting my time.

Here is the 1 out of 100 I found from my manual search that might have a little potential. It is still available to reg.

OnlineCaliforniaPersonals.com

Seemed the least spammy and I don't think it's blacklisted (please verify if you decide to register it)

So out of the 100 I looked at, this is maybe the 'least crappy'.

Would anyone care to look at it? Provide some comments?

Let me know if you register it!

These have been spammed to death, stay away from these if you're going the legit direction.
Google penalized domains don't make $ or cents.

Hi SirDrago,

Yes, I agree. I mentioned one above that I found that seemed okay and not blacklisted. But I am new at this so I provided the domain above in case anyone is interested

OnlineCaliforniaPersonals.com

This isn't a bad name, but I wouldn't reg it, even for a dollar. My taste tho is shorter names that aren't 3 words.. I do have a few 3 word domains.. I am not sure how big the market is in California for online personals. Are any of the other extensions registered or do you have to find the one out of 10 billion people that might be interested in a name like this? My first domain that I ever registered for profit was smartphonefever.com back in 2012, I don't think I would reg that today tho..

Thanks, Pairadice.

It has a few links pointing to it. I was mainly on the hunt for a domain I could park for a few cents per day.

Did it more as an experience to understand the tools. Archive.org, backlink checker, etc

No chance to buy a good .com dropped domain. They are all monitored and backordered.
You can find new TLDs domains but this is another story and another business. Also because these domains many times are affected by premium reg fee.

Hi

unless you check which websites those links come from and where they are listed on the site, and if those sites get any visitors....
then how would know if the links have any potential value?

you can't take the numbers for granted.

imo....

Hi Biggie,

Yes, I totally agree. That's what I did for the 100 domains I went through.

My question is really: Do you think it's possible to find a good fully deleted domain this way (i.e. one that has slipped through the cracks, so to speak)?

Thanks!

Hi

i'd say:

since, that's what cracks are for....
then sooner or later one or more must fall thru

at least that's what Mr. Spock would say

the thing is, is to be ready to register it when it does.

cuz, you, ain't the only crack watcher waiting to reg ...what might be the same domain.

:)

imo...
