Every year we wait for this Friday (check my 2019 thread) and this "sacred" Monday to save on their favorite domains. This year is no exception. From this day starts the last 5 and 7 days before the start of one of the biggest holidays "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" for domainers.

In this post, I suggest discussing and posting links to upcoming promotions. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just 5 and 7 days away and I'm sure we're all ready to make the most of the amazing deals online.

Simple rules:
  1. No refferal links
  2. No politics, no questions about promos (all information about promos you can find on registrar website)
  3. No discuss about registrars and promos, we have on NP a special threads for this (General Domain Discuss)
  4. Only promos, no links to sites that DO not belong to the promo (similar to aggregators)
  5. Publish links with a short description about promo (registrar name, domains, pricing, format (like a reg./renew/transfer), etc.) offered by the registrar (for simple search)

This year has been difficult for each of us in its own way. Therefore, I would like us to unite as a community and help those who want to start their domainer history here without any conflicts, discussions, and so on. Help each other and post links to upcoming promos.

I just spoke to support at NameCheap and learned that it is actually allowed to have two separate accounts and then use their BlackFriday 5 .com domain names for $4.98/yr each deal twice (10 .com domain names in total).

Of course, I recommend to double-check this yourself via their live chat just to be sure :)


You can have two accounts, that's true. I opened an account very long ago, maybe in 2008, then forgot about it. Then I opened another one in 2015, and once when I couldn't log in to my account (I forgot my password) I realized I have two accounts. And I used promotions on both of them. I was afraid they ban all my accounts, so I turned to support. I asked them to close and delete my old account after I move all domains to the new one. They were very kind and understanding, so my account was not banned :) But anyway, if a service provider let you create two accounts with the same email address, then it's probable that they are okay with you having multiple accounts.

  • All promo codes will expire on November 30, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST, and can only be used once per business/household until its limit is reached (5 domain registrations, 50 domain transfers, 1 monthly Stellar hosting plan, and 20 yearly Stellar/Stellar Plus hosting plans).

Interesting. I had not interpreted it that way, and had assumed they meant a total of 5, in up to 5 different transactions (to differentiate it from how they did it years ago when you had to use a coupon only once so do all the transactions together). But I have not tried it with more than 5 total - has anyone had success?

Yep, total of 5. Did 5 last night in 1 transaction, like some others tried it again and it doesn't work for any more. Seems like the only mainstream Registrar that had a legit BF/CM deal. Last 2 years there hasn't been anything great for .coms, few years ago there were multiple mainstream registrars have $5 and $6 .coms.

edited to add, I also think they have a nice interface, first time using them. Everything going smooth.

I just added a name without any issue. I'll see if I can get in touch and possibly get them to join NP.
Hello @NameDeck thanks for your help. Just want to know if you've been able to get in touch with Mijndomein registra. They've not responded to ticket raised.

Nobody received replies from them yesterday in my knowledge as i checked with some NP members also..many of the accounts gone to "suspect of fraud" and everybody's already registered domains with them is in a toss now.

Hope that they will resolve it soon..

I also regsitered some domains with another EU registar "Mrdomain" which support is smooth and domains safe and no account holding anything..also today i received mail of converting my account into silver account.many might have received this mail also..

Anyway patiently waiting😗😗

My orders was fine, all my domains was initiated for transfer but now all showing fraud. i think they will resolve this tomorrow.

They've responded and asked for ID & bank statement for the account where payment was sent from.

They assured it's a safety measure that will be resolved.

I also got email from them just 1 hr back and submitted id proofs now..let's wait..😗

Good to see some movement. I ordered some more yesterday without issues but having a long-standing account and being from the country obviously helps :)

Cant you login to your mijndomein account or into helpdesk ticket account?

Dont worry about support ticket login as even i could not login also..password will come wrong..but you can login into your domain account i hope..

You might get an email from them to submit ID proofs..just wait for that and hope that it will be resolved soon..

I can't login in my domain account. My support account works at the moment, but this is useless, they don't reply, they close my tickets. I hope they will contact me soon.

Anyone familiar with mailwizz or mailster? Wondering if it's worth investing $30 into either versus something like mail chimp.

Also is shopify significantly better than wooCommerce? I hear shopify is better but woo commerce has no monthly fee. Im thinking of just buying a wooCommerce theme that comes with plug-ins and that may be sufficient

Happy to announce the issue has been resolved and my domains are intact except the ones I wanted to transfer that have expired within the period which the current registrar may no longer allow to be transferred.

You can expedite where the registrar you are transferring from have such feature. Otherwise, you wait

Yes..my acocunt is also active now..pending domains also they registered and reflecting in account now..eventhough we had to wait little bit,they are resolving each case by case i think..

If you don't expedite, it will usually take 5 days to autocomplete. Not sure who the losing registrar is but usually the transfer completes near instant when you chose to expedite it.
