Every year we wait for this Friday (check my 2019 thread) and this "sacred" Monday to save on their favorite domains. This year is no exception. From this day starts the last 5 and 7 days before the start of one of the biggest holidays "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" for domainers.

In this post, I suggest discussing and posting links to upcoming promotions. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just 5 and 7 days away and I'm sure we're all ready to make the most of the amazing deals online.

Simple rules:
  1. No refferal links
  2. No politics, no questions about promos (all information about promos you can find on registrar website)
  3. No discuss about registrars and promos, we have on NP a special threads for this (General Domain Discuss)
  4. Only promos, no links to sites that DO not belong to the promo (similar to aggregators)
  5. Publish links with a short description about promo (registrar name, domains, pricing, format (like a reg./renew/transfer), etc.) offered by the registrar (for simple search)

This year has been difficult for each of us in its own way. Therefore, I would like us to unite as a community and help those who want to start their domainer history here without any conflicts, discussions, and so on. Help each other and post links to upcoming promos.

Check Black Friday deals in next messages and good luck!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Uk2.net get .com domain for £1.
I was only able to get 2domains at that price. I'm not sure if it's unlimited.
Tried to reg name with uk2.net they charge my card and the domain weren't registered.. I don't event understand, can't create account there...

Annoying is that they request personal ID.

I paid with Paypal and of course, my Paypal email is not the same address of my account.

EDIT: And not, I'm not going to give my personal ID copy to a registrar.

So if you not giving your id copy, what happen with the money you sent?

noob qsn: do these guys not ask for auth codes when doing bulk transfer?
Haha, no they don't.. Only after the payment is made, it will take a few minutes to fill all authcodes there

Do we yet have details on Black Friday deals at GoDaddy or Dynadot? Or Gandi or Porkbun?
I think the Name.com deals go live tomorrow. I will share that link when it comes.
Last year we had .ca savings from a couple of vendors, but as far as I know none yet announced 2020.
Thanks for the sharing everyone.

From porkbun

We currently don't have any black friday or cyber monday promotions planned at this time, just our regular everyday low pricing

OVH blackfriday just started :xf.eek:
Available from today until Dec 4.
Attention VPS and dedicated servers orders may be delayed up to a few hours (from the average few minutes in normal times) due to an increase in order volumes at this period.
World offers : https://www.ovh.com/world/black-friday/
France & Europe (EUR) : https://www.ovh.com/fr/black-friday/
Other localized versions of OVH have different offers but this is mainly for dedicated, VPS, cloud, hosting and SaaS/PaaS. Domain offers are limited this year..

mrdomain
Thank you! Did you use them before? How good is this registrar?
Anyone here have experience with them?
Unfortunately bad experience. Just tried to use this deal, they flagged my order as suspect and requested personal ID and other documents for verification. Hopefully will get refund.

Just moved 3 .coms to MrDomain and the process was pretty smooth.

I paid using a debit card and it was flagged for verification. The order was verified in around 20 minutes and I was able to enter the auth codes in the control panel. I was able to approve the transfer from the losing registrar's side and everything was moved over and up and running in about half an hour.

The only downside is that the domain control panel looks dated, but otherwise it works fine. I received some emails to verify the domains and some of the text was in Spanish, but it was simple to translate using google translate.

Not sure if this is specifically related to Black Friday but...

http://LCN.com:

$2.53. Ends up costing around $3 with VAT. Make sure you choose the US as a country otherwise you'll be charged in pounds.

If you never used them before, they'll very likely ask for identification or at least want to talk to you though people from the UK/EU might have less issues than people living elsewhere.

Also, I learned a few days ago from another NP member that http://Ionos.com (previously 1&1) offers $8 .co transfers year-round. If you have some .co from last year's black friday promos that you want to keep for another year... this might be the best price you'll find (just take into account that Ionos/1&1 has some horror stories about it floating around so be careful with future billing and valuable domains).

Porkbun did decide to have a flash sale after all. You need to click on the list of extensions to see the price. Nothing on the big 3 legacy TLDs though.

So no better .com transfer prices than offered by NameCheap?

I haven't heard of this registrar before. Reviews?
I would use a reputed registrar to hold my names, even if the price is high

reputed serious registrars always have competitive and some of lowest prices. else they are not serious and should be avoided.

.co is now $0.99 at Godaddy. I'm very happy that I registered 30-something .co domains at Epik for $1.99 yesterday, because when I checked expireddomains.net a few minutes ago, all the decent, recently expired names were gone :D

yeah... it got to the point where most including Me do not even bother effort and time wise to reg co even for 1$... cause there is nothing left...

I mean 1000s domainers regging co ..there is only so many domains worth having... and I think we crossed this number... I never thought I'd be not regging co at 1$... but things just got this bad...
