Another fun fact regarding to Protesting... gated communities and home owners associations ..... basically neither mean shit .... the city and county own all easements of the streets traveled and side walks within .. a homeowner association representative can only call the police .. for what? You are on city and county property ... no law is being broken ..

there is a No trespassing law in gated community of an actual house community ..

apartment complexes on the other hand .. the law is different .. the security or management can request a person not be allowed inside the gated property ... and a trespass can be summoned by police .. they give you a slip and put you on file not to be able to return inside the apartment complex gated community ..

You can not be asked to leave any city or county property ..only under violation of law can you be asked by police to leave city or county properties ....... civilians asking you to leave means squat ... you have to be breaking a law to be lawfully asked by police to leave any city or county property as you have the right to travel freely as you wish under the great constitution of the United States

I should have became a lawyer instead of taking the hard path and having to spend time in jails learning the laws ...but you will learn law really quickly if you spend much time in jail ... a lot of the time you have inmates in your pod that know the law better than the police do LOL

Just wanted to add a little info from personal experiences. There are some super exclusive subdivisions in some areas around the country where the gate can mean a stopping point for protestors (sales people, trick or treaters, etc).

The guide is generally if the street and/or sidewalks are city/county maintained, the gate means nothing. However, in some areas the superr rich will have streets/septic maintained by the homeowners association...these are the ones to avoid. A way they trick many 'trespassers' into catching a charge is that people are forced to go over a wall to get around the gate and these are on private property and/or homeowner association property.
