Hello everyone,

I'm creating this post to keep you all informed of Epik.com Happy Hours!
Every day, we'll try to discount an extension and give you the chance to register & invest in this extension.

Today, we're featuring .US extension, and we're discounting it to $1.50 for new registrations starting now, and will be ON for the next 5 hours.

The following is a list of all domain names that have been registered previously before under .US, and are available one more time for registration: https://armored.net/index.php/s/t9rf2GLm4JktQWn

Remember, all domains registered at Epik include:
- Free WHOIS privacy
- Free SSL parking landers
- Free forwarding
- Free basic Wordpress site
- Free listing in Epik marketplace for selling/leasing

Here is also a link to ALL promos that we're currently running, in case you wanted to look into something different: https://www.epik.com/promos/

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Also, let me know what extensions you'd be interested to see featuring in our future Happy Hours! We'll do our best to accommodate all requests.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It is correct.

It is not correct, sorry.

1. It was the registry who auto-renewed the domain name, not the registrar. The registrar did nothing.
2. The registry might block or otherwise withdraw the fee from the registrar.
3. Should the domain be deleted - the registry will refund the fee to the registrar.
4. Should the domain be transferred away - the registry will charge the gaining registrar for annual renewal, which thing already occured (at least formally). And the losing registrar will receive a refund. New expiration date with the gaining registrar will be just +1 year from its original expiry, not +2 years as one might guess on a spot view.

In other words, nothing prevents registrars from allowing to transfer expired domains away (if the domain in question is not yet deleted - not in RedemptionPeriod). The registrar has nothing to lose (execept that the renewal fee might be temporary blocked by the registry in this registrars account). It appears that some registrars (GoDaddy, Epik just to name a few) are using this to enforce renewals, or maybe they would rather prefer to auction the domain someday (if they offer expired domains to general public as pre-release ones).

On a side note, it might be more practical for @mayhemalex to simply renew the domain in question with Epik. Bulk/Professional pricing is reasonable @ Epik. After 45 days from the original expiration date, the transfer-away will add one more year to domain expiry. So, if the domain needs to be transferred away - then renew with Epik now, wait 45 days from the original expiry, pay the gaining registrar for transfer, and 1 more year will be added as the result (2 years in total - 1st year added by Epik, 2nd year added by the gaining registrar).
Very helpful. Thank you.

None of the other methods "Credit Cards/Crypto/Alipay" are useful for me. Paypal was. Now its longer there. There are too many flip flops happening at your end and this is very unreliable. I have managed to renew the names using my partner's card for now. Now considering moving the rest of my names out.

Domain management should be seamless and no manual interaction should be required. Contacting support for every small thing is time consuming and an unnecessary exercise.

I understand that the lack of Paypal as a payment method is disappointing, but we can't return It to you yet. I hope that this problem will not last long and we will return Paypal to Its rightful place in our panel as a payment method.

Any .com transfer promo?

Some fantastic black Friday deals would help ease our disappointment

As far as I know.

PayPal has disabled our access to the payment gateway. This is not our personal decision, a decision from outside. I may be inaccurate, so check with our support team for details.

We accept payments via other payment systems in the same way. I can't say for sure when Paypal will be returned. If you have any questions, ping me (@Makise).

So first Namebio and now Epik what is wrong with Paypal?!! How can they simply do this with an established well known business!

Personal opinion. Recently, PayPal has disabled the receipt and processing of payments in Russia, where I live. PayPal is certainly a good payment system abroad, but I have a bad experience with it.
