The problem is that there are a great deal of 8. Extensions available for sale on Sedo alone.
8.guru sold for just $550 and I guess others have sold for low prices. The big sales were usually at the domain conference type venues where who knows what goes on.
In short, you have a lot of competition.

Well, but I think there is a big difference when it comes to compare ccTLD with nTLD. Alone the limited number of ccTLDs, double limited because most blocked 1-chars. Also this is worlds shortest possible domain format what gives this domains some big meaning for new tech applications (check t . co, t .me etc.). Maybe thereare few ccTLDs like .TOP that also have a similar quality but rather few.

And for example when it comes to some real shortening applications a domain like C.CC can be 50 times better, maybe even 80 times better than C.CCC

LU = "path" , 8 = "lucky" was my consideration, so this domain has a beautiful meaning I hoped

Still wondering what the meaning of 8.Lu could be in Asia. From what I have read this should be a domain with powerful meaning but it's all so complicated, maybe I overestimate it?

Also I hope value of .LU generally will be high - A.LU sold in auction at more than 5000$, 1.LU as far I remember at more than 3000$
