The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
do you pay yourself and/or others for your time?
do you pay TAXES?
do you pay HEALTH INSURANCE?
do you pay RENT?

how much is 80K in pure profit?
after all expenses.

and can you live in USA or Germany from that?
or do you need to live in india / pakistan?

I work on my own now so whatever I earn is for myself, don't need to specifically pay up or mention that.

No taxes, no health insurance.

Yes, I do pay rent and raise a family.

Out of 80K I'd say at least 60K+ is profit.

I have lived in Australia before and would say you could live alone for upto 2500 AUD a month.

You don't necessarily need to live in any country to make a living from domains.

I was doing same when I was in Australia and same as I do while I'm in Pakistan.

I can obviously save more and invest better.

Well so many factors involved in selling low/high including domainer financial position. So i do whatever is necessary at that point.
5 out of 9 domains were sold on DAN and am happy with that.
Thanks

No man. No extra marketing. Buyer typein the domain name.

how many .CO you sold ? and you'll renew all these .CO?
Around 13 .co domains sold to end users this year and also sold 44 .co domains to investors in X range per domain as well.
I might renew 2 or 3 domains. I only renew a .co domain when I receive an offer on it and somehow they buyer don't buy it that time. Sold many domains next year in this way.
Thanks

unfortunately Frank one goes even more broke waiting to sell names not worth 2000 for 2000.

I guess the idea to invest in domains that are going to sell for $200 USD is not a profitable one.
At least not when you run a taxable business with health insurance cost and other insurances
when you think about lawyer fees- tax consultant fees

but ok,
cash in hand that might work

Should I publish some smaller sale details from back in 2018 in Report Completed Domain Name Sales Here thread? Or are older sales confusing the current market situation and are not welcome?

What do you mean? Where do I promote my domains? After listing on which platform???

Can you please clarify your question?

I have pushed those domains into Epik's NameLiquidate and they were sold there.

I did not otherwise promote them. There were standard Epik landing pages with BIN and Offer.

Yes, I outbound around July 2019. He replied with $500 and later stepped down to 300. Not until after 1yr before he was able to pay, despite he was using the exact .net and losing customers. Very unserious businessman

Next time set up an email account for the .com and offer to sell leads to the company. :) (Yes, I am joking... but it will get their attention when you deliver their misrouted email to them... and increase the value of the name.)

That sounds dangerous to me. Setting up email account to target unsuspecting customers of an existing business could be misconstrued as an attempt for scam and impersonation. Don't you think so?

I am not recommending that you "target unsuspecting customers" or do anything unethical. I would not recommend ever interacting with anyone's customer. If you have a domain and it gets email intended for someone else and you can help it find its recipient, the sender and recipient should appreciate it.

It's not as if you negotiate everyday. LOL!
He comes and goes. Intermittently.
But thanks to the in-built CRM that comes with DNHat (the scripts I use to manage my portfolio and run my marketplace), all messages are kept intact in the storage system, with tags to all previous communications. So, nothing was forgotten, nothing was lost.
