boiling frog fable is relevant. The attack is on the psyche of the nation by way of this new intersectionality paradigm by the Left.
So no, unity is not possible without really basic principles such as equality before God and the Law, and a pride in being American, treating your compatriot by the content of their character etc..
How do you expect unity with norms of racist ideology, bowing before the flag, race baiting under the auspices of 'systemic racism' and other such boogeymen ideologies. All these things are antithetical to 'unity' and instead square off a diverse peoples away from their unity as Americans in favor of immutable characteristics as the new era and a hierarchical reorganization, not on merit but by force.
So, unity is good as is a focus on American pride and the small things that can connect a diverse peoples. But if you think we are all born the same, have to feel perpetually 'bad' about divergent outcomes, rewrite history and have others dangle such matters over others in the jostle for the battle of group selection... Then you don't know how unity can be.
