Is it good option to invest in buying and selling liquor domains like wines, beer, whiskey, rum, vodka ?
Any kind of suggestions are welcome.

Depends where it is called liquor as it isn't a world wide term depends how brandable or generic it really is. Whiskey whisky. I have
winewhitelabel.com
whitelabelwines.com
whitelabel.wine
kruges.com good for a beer
i actually owned a very popular beer name location+eg:lager in dot com but i did drop it as wouldn't bother fighting over it as love the stuff.

If you look at my discussion in adult thread you will find an argument to include drugs gambling as adult not to take it off topic.

Winelist.net was one of the first domains I ever sold. Think I auctioned it on Flippa for 200 bucks or so. I think drink/alcohol related domains have to be terms that define a sector or cover an array of products to give more chance of a sale.

Can't remember to be honest but I'm sure it would have been under 50 dollars at GD expired auctions back then. I definatly made a profit on it though.

Sometimes I think all alcohols and drinks are totally based on offline market. So is it good choice to invest in alcohol related domain?

Even the drinks market is starting to move online now. Keep seeing adverts for monthly subscription boxes for Gin, wine and whiskey etc. The right names are worth the investment as long as they are either a blanket term or have a range of uses. Cocktail names could be good too. I'd like to own slipperynipple.com lol.

Last time I was into Liquor domains I drank almost 1000 times more than what I earned from liquor domains.

So staying away from it is best for me.

This domain suffix (.wine)got its potential, though it is a small market.

Anyone have experience with liquor 'reviews' type names like:
BourbonReviews dot com (not mine)
CognacReviews dot com (mine).

What types of liqor domains seem to get inquiries/offers?

Winelist obviously....

Cocktail names?

I will follow this thread..

Thanks, Nick!

I haven't had any inquiries on CognacReviews dot com yet but it's really only been on all the marketplaces for less than 2 weeks.

Appreciate the comment!
