In the year 2020, we all know many scenarios change and strategies change in the domain industry because of Covid-19. So, let's discuss the future of Domain names in 2021.

My first and important question is, What would be the best domain name for 2021?

And have some few topics on similar like
We would focus on which area before buying the domain in the year 2021?
Which area is best for buying a domain is it Pharma, Technology, Finance, or Health in 2021?

Share your point of view on the above points.

Covid didn’t change solid buying choices or domain value in the long term. Short term people stocked up on related domains. Some people had a good year and some not.

This industry has plenty of peaks and valleys. It should not change what is popular or worth keeping in the long run. So in answer to your question —solid names in 2020 are likely still solid in 2021. Trends come and go. Stick to tried and true.

Recently the Digital Yuan/DCEP started in China. So I have 3-4 yuan related domains i think it will give good value in 2021.

THEEYUAN.COM
EYUAN.CO.UK
CEFIDCEP.COM - Defi is currently trending but as DECP is centralized ...so I booked this one.

Agree with your one-line "Trends come and go" but we exist in these trends so we should aware of which trend is come and which is go.

I think its more about knowing what trends to chase and which to pass on. Not that you ignore entirely. For example, we are going to see a bunch of Covid names drop in a few months. On the other hand, conferencing and online work and mask names will likely be kept.

Can we change the title of all these types of threads to "Please tell me what domains to buy so that I don't have to do the work."?

It.
In 90s everyone wanted to be lawyer and doctor,
Today everyone wants to be coder and programmer,
In the future everyone wants to be engineer and artist.

Do you think emoji will get more support, browser platforms and email wise?
That would have a positive affect.
my new email could be
Something like
Me@🐾™.ws
Seriously tho, it won't be used anytime soon for email I don't think. It would be fun to test out.

I don't understand how you are going to tell people about or promote your domain name or email address, if it is full of emoji symbols.

OK, I'm not really up to speed with it, but I don't think it is very practical in the real-world (at least until keyboards are made with emoji characters).
From a novelty point of view, that's great and best of luck to you.

SOme one word .co and .io
