DAN has some changes recently and I can't update my account bank name.
Error message: Client bank accounts bank name is too long (maximum is 35 characters).
Anyone facing the same?

I think they will fix it, but in the meanwhile, usually when Bank names are too long, you can truncate the last characters that don't fit and it shouldn't cause issues.

@blogspotter, thank you for answering this question. It is correct. You can truncate the last characters that do not fit. It will not pose a problem.

@alcy, the pages are too new to share any relevant data yet. In addition, we have to cope with a fairly new occurrence (Corona) in the market that affects the domain industry as well. In short, we cannot share any relevant details at the moment.

with or without corona dan dont share any stats and everytime you tell them the alount of sales is decreasing they say everything is fine and there is no change in their process.
I pretty sure it's not the case when I see that the amount of sales between dan/afternic changes a lot from a time to another.

Just starting a split test daaz/dan , I would need about a month to have enough data to see the winner.

I've been thinking about some more features that might be beneficial to sellers.

Buy now / add to cart click stats, so you can see the funnel. E.g. domain.com is viewed 45 times, had 5 clicks on buy now, 2 buyers filled in their contact details, resulting in 1 sale.
Not sure if this happens already, but cart reminders for buyers that have left during the checkout process, but filled in their emailaddress.
Add an option to add x-amount of keywords and/or x-amount of categories to listings to improve the search engine. This might also help with brandables that don't show up in search. E.g. domains like safetii.com or vigovi.com most likely will never show up in searches with the current search engine.
Another solution could be to search through the domain description field as well and include those results in the search engine. And it would be a good incentive to actually fill in the description field.
Allow the display of the trafficstats on a per domain basis. I've got some domains that I would like to show the stats for, but I can only allow it for all domains, only above 100 visitors or none at all.
Another option could be the make the amount of visitors before showing the stat configurable. Only show if X monthly visitors, where the seller can decide the number X.

And I would like DAN to filter Bot traffic and only provide real traffic. Some of my names have huge bot traffic, not sure why

We currently already follow up on those leads who drop out during the checkout. We do this multiple times actually in order to ensure we maximize our users' chances of selling their domains with us.

We fight bot traffic on a daily basis and make sure to block them as soon as possible. We are operating very vigilant when it comes to this.

I know you fight bot traffic. I am not talking about fighting or preventing them, but to filter them in the traffic column, and only show human traffic, so I know how a domain is doing. I add Google Analytics too, but it would be good to know at a quick glance which domains are getting real traffic or which are not.

I am suggesting to @DAN.COM ,to be careful when transfering names .I purchased a 4L and you guys transfered another domain to my Godaddy.I was wondering if you dont realize you are sending me someone else's domain .

Just advising you to be careful because you may also transfer my own valuable domain in your possession to another buyer. I am going to be careuful using you to trade. By the way you transfered coinverify.com when my domain was a super 4L.You need to wake

and not make errors with other people's assets in your possession.

Just an advise,during transfer,look through your invoice for what one is paying for before pushing/transfer .You could have transfered my 4L to someone else.

It's been more than 40 hours since a deal was launched,
We need the help of customer service to change the installment payment mode.
But it still hasn't changed.
I sent several emails to customer service.
But there was still no reply,
Obviously when you emailed me and asked me, I responded right away,
Tell you what you need to change,
Can't you finish this before you leave work?
Even if you get the weekend off,
Shouldn't you be on duty?
Do you have any idea how many customers the seller is going to lose in those 2 days?

As everyone knows DAN is known to be gone on weekends. That needs to change. Transactions take place 24/7 365 and in the digital age two days can send a buyer packing. Please get a weekend crew.

@Dan,I thought when you import leads its 5%?Even on an installment payment .

Please clarify .I have closed transaction and it was 5% so why charge 9%.If seller uses another means of receiving payment, is this a different scenario for % charged?
