First Ever Sale

Made my first domain sale this week:

CFUK.net
$707.00

Private Sale.
At last...... profit to re-invest!!

I am a bit confused when i see domains like this sold, because of how i learnt domaining i will never have considered buying such a domain... So i am curious, what interested you in this domain name? What made you think you could sell it?

I can think of a couple of people. ie someone living at 7699 Main St. Someone w/ -7699 as the last four digits to their phne #. A company or union where the # had some significance. A speculator w/ a *deep* portfolio. Someone who blinked and didn't see the fourth digit or the .net ext. :laugh:

Hi, I love this reply. Being a novice i recently bought domains and i was told they are crap. But after seeing this message i kinda have hope that they might be worth something. Could you perhaps have a look at them for me?

I look forward to your reply 😊

I know you are supposed to post the domain name here, but I can't disclose that with the terms of the sale. Anyways, late 2019 I purchased a health related .com domain name for $3. I had a short term project i used it for and it did its purpose. I sold the domain last month for $25,000. This is my biggest sale and return multiplier ever!

Before calling whatever "average co", you'd better google the term, and check how many extensions are taken. If it was "an average name", i would not be crazy enough to price it so high.

I hand registered Mindification . com less than two years ago for $8.47 and closed a deal for $9k earlier today. Transaction completed using CREXBTC . com.

Have you got paid?

As per whois its just some months old website similar to same btc fraud website earlier reported by other domainer.

You got lucky.

All the red flags were there.

From reg fee POV you had nothing to lose;
but not rush promote this website; organization

Please my friend, be leery. Congrats on sale.
Count blessings like winning house poker;
and LEAVE TABLE & dont use crexbtc again!

Very Risky; Pl try not subsequent deals with;
CREXBTC (.)com Wow!

Yes I got paid.

Congrats on your $9,000 sale.

You could have used; Paypal; Escrow; Dan any one of reliable sources.

NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND TRUST MONTH OLD SITE for $x,xxx transaction.
; were WARNED! months old; $9,000 deal; You’re undermining this thread

You’re trust worthy member; one my favorites!

Thanks for updating about the issue. On the article:

"Once the sale was completed, the bitcoin seemed to appear in my account balance on the service.

The problems began when I tried to withdraw the cryptocurrency. The site would not process a transaction without verification.

The terms of use indicated I had to send a small amount of crypto to verify the account in order for the withdrawal to be processed. I did, but then they wanted more. I realized that I was potentially the victim of a scam.

No, just listed right after registering, a month ago. Seems that Afternic Premium Network did not even kick in, as GoDaddy sends approval request after 60 days... This one was listed on SquadHelp too, as Basic Plus (Standard now).

not too familiar with afternic prem net..does this mean this only went on basic net like gd etc...so then its possible someone binned it at gd and it went thru afternic sales? is there some way to know where on afternic network it sells in general? ty

Could be. GD says if domain is listed on Afternic, it will automatically be listed with GoDaddy. GD even made me cancel GD Premium listings service, saying it could cause confusion. I do not think there is a way to track on which 3d party platform a domain is being sold(just appears in Afternic account as pending sale or sold).

Please educate us:

What's up with their $748 commission? One third seems to be an unjustifiable ripoff.

If it comes in time we'll discuss your reply during our next week's training session and update this.

Cat // Maven ///.com

$200 make offer on Efty lander.

It is a cat rescue group, so there was not a lot $$ to be had there. Besides I personally work with several Dog and cat rescue groups, so I have a soft spot for them.
Same here. Great to see s fellow animal protector!

Lots of junk imo. Congrats. Why buy such names, and why ask more than 2 figures, and why would anyone buy them..

he has great success selling co

but I agree these are low quality names. which I guess is why they were available.

in a way its good news for all that poor names can sell.. and that sellable co names still avail to reg..cause everything good is taken or prem..but at same time it's bad news because the lower the name quality the harder it is for us to believe we should reg it heheh

ah the ironies of domaining.

some people get ego trauma when u tell them their name is avg...but I think its actually cool to sell avg name for good price.
