Roman Catholic denomination as being one of the biggest christian groups is also the furthest removed from anything biblical and one of the most political. Their actions and pronouncements spoken for themselves for decades. Their symbolism is also telling.

Political power was restored to the Catholic Church with the Lateran Treaty in 1929. The deadly wound was healed. The Vatican is now a political state, with ambassadors.

Problems with idolatry, their confessional separates man from God. Pope changed laws and times ( fourth commandment ).

Pretty much every Protestant reformation recognized the office the Pope as the anti-christ.

Kids are not safe in any institutional organizations, it is sickening. Not sure if this is a good reference but it is a good start if one is interested.

a nice warm inviting feeling this gives me:)

Think the Popes have been embracing politics and socialism, not what I imagine God's organization to do.
Parts of truth can be found everywhere.

Trump is 5 points ahead nationally. Biden's corruption story will explode, NY Post isn't a local paper. Fox News will dig in. OAN, NewsMax. Joe will have to answer question during the debate...

I consider this a win! :woot: Finally... some retribution!! (y)

Purdue will make a direct payment to the government of $225 million, which is part of a larger $2 billion criminal forfeiture. In addition to that forfeiture, Purdue also faces a $3.54 billion criminal fine, though that money probably will not be fully collected because it will be taken through a bankruptcy, which includes a large number of other creditors, including thousands of state and local governments. Purdue will also agree to $2.8 billion in damages to resolve its civil liability.

“The federal government had the power here to put the Sacklers in jail, and they didn't,” Connecticut Attorney General William Tong said in a statement. “Instead, they took fines and penalties that Purdue likely will never fully pay.”

This is a medical/judicial precedent. Those responsible, the criminal Sacklers, ought to rot in jail along with the crooked pharmacists and doctors who over-prescribed them. We waged war in the north with gangs who were importing them...it almost destroyed entire communities and hurt a generation of oxy-bables.

They probably won't invade Western Europe, just make an Eastern front from the countries that were once in their strategic stronghold. Ukraine has the oil, IMO that's what they want. Europe would be hurting for resources. That is, unless they go green like Denmark has done - not just in wind power, but agriculture.
Russia has a lot more oil than Ukraine and even more gas... in fact Ukraine is nearly totally dependent on Russian gas, so they can just close the gas taps and Ukraine is fuc*ed. They've done that before, when Ukraine was behind on their payments (for gas)

The main conflict area is on the eastern Ukraine border where there's a large % of Russians living.
