It's not bad after all to look for original sources, since you can find more censored info in the process. The open letter by Belgian experts is also published by the American Institute for Economic Research, so I guess Great Game India is, just as the name implies, great.
Back to the Belgian source, they have a page with other doctor initiatives. Right there we can find listed between others the Great Barrington Declaration and petition, that's signed on Oct. 4th by various infectious disease experts in the U.S. and abroad, advocating for a Focused Protection approach for those at risk, and encouraging return to normal life for those not considered vulnerable. The declaration has also a wikipedia page. Of course Fauci and the mainstream are throwing all the good epithets at it but we already know their position on this, so no surprise here.

The authors of that declaration have credentials, they're epidemiologists, they're not redditors.

Fauci say he was wrong in the beginning about mask preventing Covid (fearing a mask shortage), but after scientific proof says the masks do work, even cloth masks - that's why we have scientists. What's the problem?

What did Trump use to help save his life? Monoclonal antibodies and Remdesivir. Isn't that science? Wouldn't it have been simpler if he had just worn a mask in the first place?

This is a way a Trumper thinks.

Let's say there is a trip they take every week by car and there are only 2 routes to get there. And their main goal is to get there as quickly as possible.

Route 1 - takes 1 hour
Route 2 - takes 1 hour, 30 minutes

They take Route 1 because it's the quickest.

This one morning they're checking their Travel App and it says on Route 1, there is road construction and also a tanker overturned. That 1 hour trip is now a 2 hour trip.

Most would then take Route 2, because it is now the quicker route today. Trumpers would still take Route 1

Things change, data changes, you're supposed to adapt to new data.

Yeah well I've seen the trolling part too in the wikipedia page, before posting it. They'll weed those out after the verification process. This doesn't change the fact that the authors are epidemiologists with solid credentials.

Nope. If you want to believe those Conspiracy Nutter, Anti-Mask sites are legit, even tho they've been taken apart all over the internet. Ok. Went over that group yesterday, touched on it again today.

Anti-mask is not legit. Dead serial killers are not legit. You haven't posted any actual names. Go thru them.

Ok, I get it. It's not about the masks, or even science per say, but rather the anti-authority syndrome demonstrated by whomever. That's fine too, I guess, I'm not a big fan of masks but I'll wear one in public (as required and because of common sense). BTW, we have a home remedy made from traditional plants that were used to keep people alive during previous pandemics in history. That was before they even knew about germ theory, so if non-believers don't wear masks and won't take vaccine, this might be an alternative.
