Not infrequently, the domain name is again listed for sale, sometimes with monetized parking.

world.travel, the name is used for redirection, but not in the manner one might expect. It redirects to a user profile from Australia at the Steam game distribution site. The interesting thing is the same redirection is used for the domain name world.market that sold earlier in 2020 for $35,000. Neither I, nor my source, know the eventual plan for these two names. I did a bit of investigation to see if there were other world names similarly redirected, but did not find any, although I did not search comprehensively. I would argue that
world.travel is a great descriptive match across the dot in a high value sector. It is a natural for a global travel agency or information source. As such, the price does not surprise me. World.travel sold at about four times the price of names like internet.travel, booking.travel and space.travel, but, as strong as those names are, I would argue world.travel is better.There are 66 sales of
.travel extension names listed on NameBio, with the highest sales price internet.travel at $11,400 in 2016. Only 9 of the sales are at prices of $5000 or more, and only 4 at $10,000 or more.According to Dofo, the exact word
world is registered in 439 TLDs, and is currently listed for sale in 233 extensions. I also had a look at the two word name
WorldTravel, and it is registered in 126 TLDs, and for sale in 31, according to Dofo. The domain name
