The World is not just America or UK and although the trend for most foreign companies since the dawn of the internet and domains was to adopt the popular western English alphabet and grammar and words in their domains I'm sure there are developed domains that use the English alphabet to spell their foreign domains.

For example, lately I've been looking into French language domains and in .com. In particular I've looked into "Enligne" domains because of the sales below.

En Ligne in French is Online.

parierenligne.fr 39,000 USD 2009-02-05 Sedo
pokerenligne.com 28,350 USD 2020-01-16 DropCatch
banqueenligne.com 12,104 USD 2011-11-30 Sedo
banqueenligne.com 6,789 USD 2011-01-21 Sedo
joueraupokerenligne.fr 6,750 USD 2009-03-31 Sedo
petitionenligne.fr 5,500 USD 2019-02-11 Sedo
marcheenligne.com 4,888 USD 2020-07-21 Sedo
jeuxenligne.net 4,470 USD 2011-05-11 Sedo
banqueenligne.net 4,001 USD 2012-03-29 Sedo
banqueenligne.net 3,960 USD 2012-04-11 Sedo

and "Avendre" (For sale in French)

avendre.ca 7,500 USD 2011-03-02 Private
commerceavendre.com 3,500 USD 2017-09-11 Sedo
terrainsavendre.fr 2,025 USD 2011-02-23 Sedo
maisonavendre.net 1,995 USD 2011-06-29 Afternic
avendre.net 1,400 USD 2009-08-05 Afternic
avendrepascher.com 500 USD 2008-01-10 Afternic
appartementavendre.com 227 USD 2015-07-21 GoDaddy
domainesavendre.com 136 USD 2007-12-05 Sedo

If you find it difficult to find real gems in .com for english word domains why not give some foreign word domain names a shot?

Many probably had this idea years ago so let's see what FOREIGN domain names you've got? Here's your chance to showcase them.

DO NOT:

1. submit domains that contain special characters on top of letters which will make them IDN's.
2. submit english word domains.

I will allow combos like English word + Foreign word domains
or
Foreign word + English word domains

This ought to be interesting.

Here's my recent reg.

GratuitEnligne.com (French for Free Online) 24,700,000 results in quotes "Gratuit Enligne"
BateauEnligne.com (French for "Boat Online)
BateauxEnligne.com (French for "Boats Online)

Why French?

Population 65,273,511 people.

You don't have to submit just French domains there's a ton of other countries in the world with their own language.

So what's yours? Italian? German?Israel? Arabic? Chinese/Pinyin?Korean? Filipino?Swahili?

The possibilities are ENDLESS.

It looks like French, but it seems only (or at least mainly) used in the US? Like Suave and debonair.

I never heard about it before. But it sounds good, I like the rythme.

first of all, what does it matter to you, what domains i showcase?

second:
https://www.thoughtco.com/au-contraire-1371093

little ways down on the page quote "Note that au contraire can also used be in English with the same meaning, as can an emphatic variation: au contraire mon frère - on the contrary, my brother. In French, you can only use mon frère if you are actually talking to your brother, but in English, the rhyme seems to make fraternal considerations unnecessary." So with this, in french it means you are actually talking to your brother. so its french. ty. :)

Sorry for commenting, I'll go see elsewhere. It seems that you know French better than me so I am absolutly useless here.

MataUang.com (Indonesian)

This is three domains in one post. Please keep it one at a time.

To keep things in perspective.

People love large numbers. These three domains could have been 3 posts in this thread.

Thereby boosting the replies and views to this thread thereby increasing people's curiosity. Thereby maybe bringing more views.

Snowball effect. Like with "reg of the day" thread.

I'm here to help with this thread. Help me help you.

Keep posts to one domain at a time.

I am the worse offender. So don't feel singled out. I have since posted one domain at a time.

So, one at a time.

autofocus.fr which could be use for photography related stuffs, as well as automobile oriented websites. In France we are using "focus", as well as many other English words. That's my only .fr domain name.

edit: not really non-English... Let me find another one...

otarie.com the French for sea lion. I find it very brandable. It is pronounced: O-T-A-R-I I had a mascot made for it: (sorry cannot find the resizing option...)
Sea_lion_PNG_low.png

Nice domains. I mean 1 domain per post at a time. I think you know what I meant!

This is two domains in one post. not exactly following the new rules. Please keep it one at a time.

You didn't even mention 1 domain

If you MUST QUOTE me. Please quote me COMPLETELY.

I said......

"I am the worse offender. So don't feel singled out. I have SINCE posted one domain at a time."

And also as stated in previous post.

"I'm noticing that people are dropping 1,2,3,7,10 domains on here. Me included."

Why do I need to repeat this? Please go back to all my posts.

Moving forward. New RULE.

ONE DOMAIN PER REPLY.

ANYTHING BUT THE ABOVE IS DISRESPECTFUL.

AND IT SHOWS to everyone on here.

It's not a good look.

As with all other showcase threads people are allowed to posts comments ABOUT the domains mentioned here. It is welcome and encouraged. But please let's be civilized and not get into a fight. Lol

No need to mention a domain or showcase a domain when all you want to do is comment on a showcased domain.

But why not mention your foreign domain for the hell of it? I'll leave it up to you.

OFF TOPIC WILL BE REPORTED AND DELETED BY MODS. And will count as strikes to your account.

Rather not do that.

If you are not commenting on a showcased domain then it is off topic.

ALL OFFENDERS OF THE ONE DOMAIN PER DOMAIN SHOWCASE REPLY RULE MOVING FORWARD WILL BE REPORTED AND DELETED.

It's amazing that I needed to clarify this.

But there it is.

Again the Purpose of the one domain per showcase is for everyone's benefit. To increase replies and by default views.

Every post here makes this thread pop up in the "New Post" section to the right.

If people keep posting foreign domain showcases daily then the chance for more views increases.

Isn't this good for the thread?

A reply/post with 8 domains should be 8 replies or posts. Makes sense or no?

It's like getting banner exposure on Namepros FOR FREE.

Giving this thread and the domains showcased here better exposure.

All of this should be self explanatory really.

Not going to explain or waste time on this anymore. Follow the simple beneficial rule or have the post reported. Thanks.

Very good. And now you've added 3 new replies to this thread. Increasing it from 60 replies to 63.

And increased views. See how that works. Thanks. Very nice domains. Good luck!

Rufahia means (Good Health in arabic.)

Rufahia.ae is developed.:xf.wink:

HastaLaMuerte.com
Spanish for "til death" or ‘to the death’. HastaLaMuerte.net is developed - it's a site about Sevilla FC, a Spanish football team. There's a line in the team anthem that goes: 'Sevillista seré hasta la muerte' = 'I'll be a Sevilla FC fan til death'.

CarroDeportivo.com

Spanish for sports car though admittedly in Latin America only a small portion of the population has the resources to acquire one. Oftentimes taxes on imported products makes them even more expensive to acquire than in the US.
