The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
No based on half a line of information and a non working screen grab. Offer a reason we would be compelled to invest.

It's a online mall i will try to make it as much as possible as a real mall ... for now it's just a idea ,showing my idea to see if it is worth it ...

Well something that requires dedicated hosting needs to offer the return for the bandwidth. I understand as programmer you know what your doing but your going to have to write out a good description of your work in order to find investment and what you require to make it happen.

Programmers don't have to be marketers, but I think you should elaborate on your idea of an online mall. The concept of an online mall is dated and out of fashion. In the 90s and early 2000s, there were attempts to create online malls, but those couldn't stand up to giants like Amazon and eBay. Physical malls haven't been doing too well either.

Online mall doesn't say much except to invoke memories of an old concept (both online and in the world). I don't think your idea is dated. But your description isn't helping.

The idea is quite simple ...

Shops / Services Providers rent space on the online mall platform to sell their products / services .

For the monthly fee they will pay ,let's say 2500 euros per month ... they will get a lot of visitors do to fact we are going to invest most of that money let's say 70% in entertainment/development/programming/marketing & advertising, salaries .

Here is the diagram

Why not just sell on Amazon or eBay? For those looking for more freedom, Shopify has been popular (and barely costs anything to get started compared to your 2,500/month cost). Facebook has shown interest in allowing for sales on their platform and that hasn't gone unnoticed.

I'm not seeing anything in your online mall model that is groundbreaking. It only sounds costly to operate and for your customers.

The mall will be more human then what ebay and amazon has to offer ... you know when you go to a real mall or a souk, bazaar ,open market ,farmers market etc that interaction feeling you get with shop owner and other people chatting on the streets ...no online shop / malls offers that ...it feels that your not buying from humans or your not in a place where humans are.

Think of my mall a combination between facebook+instagram+youtube+amazon+shopify+netflix+skype+ etc etc

The power of the mall increases with amount of shops will join ...

You guys (investors) create a pool ,when you have the money to pay for the start up needs/costs ...i can take care of technical after with team of programmers / designers ... you will have to vote and hire the CEO,CTO,CFO,CMO, first ...i just want my role as one of the lead developers + salary + "shares" ...

CEO will direct the money where it will be needed

what's the risk?

Risk is like in any investment/startup...

Ceo/cfo can run away with money if investors vote a "Madoff"
Shops may not want to join mall
Some countries may ban online mall do to politicts
Hyperinflation
Hackers
Birocracy
Etc etc ...

Like any other investment

This is a big project so it will be fullish for investors to think that wolfs/sharks (scammers ,criminals etc) will not try to join in and get their share of the cake ...

After this debacle (one of many around I'm sure) not sure if many here would want to anyway. This is just one of the reasons not the only one.

I mean... He literally mentioned Madoff, but uh... Putting that aside...

I think you need a plan for accountability. Escrow is one option.

Like i said investors have to create their own pool on this and elect/vote the management team..investors are responsible for how they elect ...just like they do it on all companies (annual investors meeting...)

Nope, I will risk my oxygen (time and money) if join you now.
But...
What I already do is - buy WordPress marketplace theme at ThemeForest.
Now, I currently loading products by outsourcing with freelancers.
Need to do marketing after this.
Later, sell my marketplace for investors.

I don't want to wait for investors coming to me, because when it will happens?
Wanted to chat with the buyer for human touch? Use WhatsApp then.

Sorry to say this.

It's not the wp cms that is the main thing ...all people can do that ... it's a platform ,where you make it more powerful with numbers of shops that join in ...

fyi there is a expired domain on godaddy for 25 bucks rn ShopStadium.com might not be a bad domain for the online mall...best of luck!
