Do the 2 terms FOREX + TRAINING marry well together in this case?

I have very little experience with financial domains like this one. Feel free to share your views on this 2-word exact-match.

Yes.. It is very good. Forex is as hot as crypto and much larger.
"Forex training" is a very profitable niche worth Millions to many. Many of them are scammers and fake gurus is a different thing, but them I am sure 90% of the defi domains sold will also be used by scammers.

LearnCrypto was sold for over 30K
I think that is the closest comparison.

Easy 10K and 30-50 K for the right buyer

You will get tons potential buyers in a short time.
If you use adspy/adbeat etc, spy for all the forex advertisers and then reach out to them.
You can start with etoro promoters.
Youtube is also full of "forex trainers"
Look for the cheesiest ones lol.

"I started in my dorm room......"

That will 5% consulting fees. Thank You.
I accept Bitcoins

It's one of those tricky ones -at first first glance you think fantastic combination then you check out the details and for me it turns into a good combination

The correct (and searched) term is Forex Trading Course, Forex course, learn to trade Forex or even learn Forex - which all have search volumes - there is no search volume for Forex training

Everyone quoting these 30k plus evaluations needs to be a bit realistic - there have been only 2 reported sales at over 15k ever

Domain Price Date Venue
forexbrokers.com 150,000 USD 2016-05-10 Uniregistry
forexaccount.com 55,000 USD 2017-01-23 NamesCon
forexinvestor.com 14,706 USD 2008-01-15 Sedo
forexinvestor.com 13,603 USD 2007-11-30 Sedo
forex888.com 11,000 USD 2011-07-05 Sedo
forextraders.com 8,000 USD 2011-01-23 Sedo
forexguide.com 7,750 USD 2011-05-11 SnapNames
forexaccount.com 7,605 USD 2016-09-29 DropCatch
forexsite.com 7,500 USD 2008-04-29 Sedo
forexlive.com 6,500 USD 2008-12-30 Afternic
forex365.com 5,500 USD 2013-02-18 Afternic
forexstrategy.com 5,400 USD 2008-04-07 Afternic
forexcity.com 5,000 USD 2019-11-05 Sedo
forexsummit.com 5,000 USD 2013-11-06 Private
forexsolutions.com 5,000 USD 2011-03-30 Sedo

The domain has sold twice before......assume one is yours

*taken out the links due to potential indexing by Google*

BUT

When you have a look at how much a Forex courses are, the paid ones one range from around $100 to nearly $10,000 for a professional course you could have potential with some highly targeted outbound at getting a very good price......if you target the high value course providers

https://www.wikijob.co.uk/content/trading/forex/best-forex-trading-courses

Personally would look for anything from

5k - 10k for a quick sale

12k - 25k - targeting mid sized course providers (for me this would be the sweet spot price wise)

30k - 50k + - if you go after the big course providers with a great presentation :xf.smile:

*Could be wrong on these figures - still learning.........

If everybody bought by keyword search volume, the domain aftermarket industry will go broke. "Learn Crypto" sold for 30K by a very patient man from this forum. It has a total of 40 searches a month. People don't go online looking for "Forex Training", so this is not a very pull marketing keyword, but people spend thousands of dollars to buys targeted ads online based om demographics, not keywords, and it is sold via push marketing and the training industry is very lucrative. And "training" in the first step towards somebody opening an account on the hundreds of forex trading firms located in every country, from Australia to Saudi Arabia.

Youtube is also a good search engine.
Look for forex training on youtube. There are several videos with 1 Million views. That means there is volume

What figures would you be looking for if it was yours?

Forex is hotter than Crypto is all I am going to say. It is also much more evergreen. So it can be sat on till the right offer comes along. There are dozens of outreach target for a quick sale as well.

Let me put it this way, even if it sold for 100 K, the seer amount of PR and online publicity and citations it will bring to the sale will bring in 100 K in training sales and other upsells for the right buyer. Some kind of a Grant Cardone style guru will lap it up if he was also sold the publicity opportunity,..

But this is one niche where the focus I feel, has been on Youtube/Social media to capture leads/audience by the training sellers.
There are established end users with wild strategies for getting buyers on the net who are least bothered about an ideal domain name or even SEO for that matter.
Affiliate marketing, MLM, Youtube, FB and what not.

That is one disadvantage, I feel for this keyword.

Lol.

Brad

He missed 3 words.

I would say $660

The Mods should do something with him because he posted some random numbers which will make members happy but it's dangerous as it will encourage members buy crap names.
HOW ABOUT RESTRICT HIM FROM POSTING IN THE APPRAISAL Section?

$40k to 60k...in my opinion, you should contact top brokers with this one.

At some stage, I may reach out to some of the leading advertisers and/or brokers - appreciate the opinions and advice.
It seems the vast majority agree that the value lies in the low 5 figures (at least) and has further upside if the right end user comes along.

It's a very good training domain imho. I could definitely see this being used as a customer facing brand for a trader training course.

Retail: $10k to $42.5k or more if a motivated buyer comes along.

I didn't think the "training" keyword, in this case, would be complementary to "Forex" - but I think I have been proved wrong. I was looking at the domain more from a SEARCH angle, and less from a "This is what we offer" perspective.
Forex education is big - I will not be letting the domain go for under $15K-$20K.

this is a flock to domain. You own it. No less than $60k for this one, my friend. Excellent. :)
