Definitely merit to that argument, but having a solid foundation never hurts.

I agree with that, but is that what universities offer? Particularly outside of the hard science fields (engineering, medicine, etc.), I think they offer a very weak foundation. All of the classics can be read on the internet, though.

"Just Posted: The NYT has obtained the president’s tax return information for thousands of personal and corporate returns going back decades. Here’s our first story. Watch this space for additional articles in the coming weeks."

Trump paid $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017, New York Times reports
The Times obtained Donald Trump’s tax information and revealed that the president paid $750 in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency. In his first year in the White House, he paid another $750. The report also reveals that Trump "had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years." Trump responded to the investigation saying, "It's fake news. Totally fake" and his tax returns have not been released because "they are under audit."

"Exclusive: The Times has obtained tax-return data for President Trump extending over more than two decades. It shows his finances under stress, beset by losses that he aggressively employs to avoid paying taxes and hundreds of millions in debt coming due."

Trump was in my hometown last night (Harrisburg). I drove there and the security at the gate asked me if I have reservation.
I said no then he said I have to stand up because there is no seat left for me. I told him I am a senior citizen and if I stand up too long I may fall down anytime.
5 minutes later, the same guy came back told me that he had 2 seats for me and my wife.
At least they respect senior citizens.

Probably lying about them being under audit, and even if they were, you can still release them. One has nothing to do with the other. The audit bs :xf.laugh::xf.laugh::xf.laugh: he's been using that excuse for years.

Valid points. Education is often watered down nowadays, afterall universities are in the business of making money. The public education system where 'no kid left behind' often just pushes people through the system IMO. That's not to say that a quality education cannot be had today, In fact, last year I tutored foreign PhD students in English who came to Canada to further their research, I learned alot from them along the way as I also had to learn the appropriate subject material. I continue to learn online daily. That is the magic of the Internet. I don't spend all my time here, lol. I'm currently developing a specialized Open University (having secured premium domains to match). I took a couple years off work to learn web development through online courses. Of course, I don't do it alone, it takes a team effort to get where you want to go. Maybe it's just my socialistic side talking, but I believe a good education is essential for all, especially if we want to continue living on a healthy planet. I also learn from my Elders, who are the keepers of traditional wisdom. That's the kind of education you can't get in school.

A quality education.

I dont and never will trust Wikipedia.

That's why education is key, being able to understand, critique and discriminate fact from fiction - fake news etc.

Nobody cares but the degenerate democrats and the corrupt DA that leaked the taxes.

I'd vote for Trump over Biden even if he was broke.

New York Times is fake news.

Hunter Biden got 3.5 million from a Russian national. Joe doesn't know anything!

Probably lying about them being under audit, and even if they were, you can still release them. One has nothing to do with the other.

No kidding. Trump is a conman, you're the mark. You are the person he was talking about when he said:

Donald Trump: 'I Could ... Shoot Somebody, And I Wouldn't Lose Any Voters'

Actually, butt-hurt Sanders fans. 93% of protests are peaceful. Has nothing to do with what I posted, doesn't change that reality.

And stop pretending you care about people, that's a lie. You favor killing more with Covid, taking away healthcare etc.

mr-x is triggered tonight. I told you it's going get worse, October is coming, pace yourself.

Any person that would vote for Trump for any reason is either greedy, racist, or ignorant.

Trump is the most unamerican, corrupt person in the white house ever. He is nothing more than a russia fearing, tax hiding, woman abusing, business cheating, multiple bankrupt, racist, liar and fraud who wants nothing more than to destroy every American institution. And anyone with half a brain should see that.

Unless a person is greedy, racist or just plain ignorant.

All the Trump lovers will need to fall in line and support a real President. Trump is America's biggest mistake ever. Four years was like a lifetime. Torture. Because he is not smart. Just not intelligent.

US politics is not my forte, so what better way to learn than to engage with people online who have a deeper understanding and are passionate about their views. One just has to sift thru the whitewash to get the facts. Those guys (politicians) are the ones funding much of the public education system, they influence what gets written in the school books and forward their agendas thru inculcation and indoctrination, so part of the blame rests with them, since they control the public purse and who have the finger on the Button.

I can smell the dirtbag Trump sweating. He knows he is on his way out.

To tarnish our election system. What a loser. Cry about the ballots with no evidence. He should be censured. Just horrible. Completely desperate.

And now, Trump is so desperate (and with little funds), he is pandering to everyone. Making fake promises, but it's too late.

Exactly. Trump is a fraud. He files big losses, yet wants to be on the Forbes list.

Trump is a tax cheat and will do time. IMO
