Biden - Total raised in August: $212,181,474
Trump - Total raised in August: $61,750,338

That shows momentum, enthusiasm

Any idea how many new voters R's have registered vs D's ?

The last time Trump ever did an interview about Healthcare, he thought it worked like the Gerber Baby Grow Up life insurance plan that cost $12 a year

I appreciate your honesty. (y) I believe we all possess the ability to transgress our preconceptions through candid, open dialogue that the media would otherwise have us believe. From my perspective, higher education provides the basic skill set to discern and understand the world as a means for life-long learning.
My experience in higher education was achieved by travelling to about 25 countries while living in five of those for an extended period of time, each very different culturally, in three different continents...

Do you have some link? The fundraising thing I posted is real. Biden is taking in 3.5x what Trump. You can't spin that. Dems are more enthused.

Side note, why do you want to kill Americans? Forgot to ask you about the Sweden response.

You're talking about herd immunity. That would kill more Americans, not less. Would be into the millions. It seems if you really cared, you would echo the common sense measures scientists/doctors recommend, instead of fighting against it.

185 Million Instagram followers and 3rd most backed person for 2020 president, even though he isn't running.

You talking about the Rock? Damn, didn't know he had that many Instagram followers. Says 199 million now, guess he picked up a bunch today. We have 328 million in America. I know it's worldwide but it's like having almost 2 out every 3 Americans following you on Instagram. Crazy.

199,000,000 people following you is some type of influence.

Trump has 22 million on instagram for comparison

haha, just reading some of the comments on his last instagram post, lots of hurt Trumpers.

That's the guy.

I was thinking the other day about what the US might be like with him as president. He hasn't ruled it out in the future.

I imagine your faith in higher education might be misplaced by some decades, stem field is relatively ok but there are mandatory gender and social justice type courses everywhere.

this is an old documentary by how quickly things are changing and probably only scratches the surface

I'm just a down to earth poor soul whose intentions are good ... Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.

But you did study under Professor Eric Burdon!

It was already at my university 40 years ago, then the cow colleges caught up. Then the schools. Now it's everywhere. I don't want my kids in any Western university unless they are really focused on something that they need university for (med school, etc.). Otherwise it's a massive scam. A lifetime of debt to be brainwashed. Scientology is cheaper, and probably better for their future, than most "advanced education" today. Oddly, though, I am involved in academia this year again. Wasn't looking for it, but they asked and the students looked interesting. Funny world.

Definitely merit to that argument, but having a solid foundation never hurts. We've forgotten more than we've learned. That is why we cannot remain stagnant in our old ways of behaving and MUST evolve, or the human race is likely to go the way of the dinosaur. People's views are expanded, but also limited by their inputs. I could go on and on...

What exactly do you mean by that? I don't know if I'm missing sarcasm or humor, but I'm missing some context.

Yes, it was sarcasm - I don't recommend Scientology to anyone. But like most cults, much of what they offer is helpful and proven self-improvement techniques. They just twist them to their own ends. This is more than what many university courses offer, though. It's quite possible, even common, for people to learn nothing at all of value in 4 years at university. Many of them can't even express a cogent opinion. And universities are becoming increasingly cult-like and narrow minded.
