Anyone else sell at GoDaddy auctions & having trouble getting paid?

I'm beginning to wonder if Godaddy is financially stable. They are now in default on payment for 3 domains sold on their platform 6 weeks ago, with payment cleared 5 weeks ago and transfer completed at least 3 weeks ago.

This has happened before, and when I complained the excuse has essentially been "we forgot".

Anyone else seeing this? This "gee we keep forgetting to pay our payables" is often the type of thing you see before a bankruptcy filing.

DIFFERENT DAY, same sh.. (stuff)...

Sold 3 domains via go daddy auctions around May 30 and are way past due for payment. . Emails confirm payment was on its way. Nothing has happened. I sent emails back to Go daddy auctions and they say they had an "audit" and I should wait a few more business days. Time is up! What really is the problem with Go Daddy? Anybody else dealing with this....? I am also contacting "Joe Styler" above

I've found the "pattern" with Godaddy.

First is the wait for payment from the buyer... and they will wait up to 5 WEEKS unless you tell them not to, at a minimum wait of 15 days.

Then you wait for "payment clearance" which always takes 7 days.

Then you are asked to provide the transfer codes.

Then you have to wait for the buy to figure out that he has to start a transfer.

Then you have to wait for your registrar to release the domain, which takes 7 days at eNom. Enom doesn't know the internet is running on weeks, so they will tell people it takes 5 days (NOT joking!).

Then... often nothing. There seems to be no function or process in place for Godaddy to recognize and pay the seller, and unless you ask for payment you're looking at 2 or 3 WEEKS after the transfer is complete.

So... don't count on seeing your money from a Godaddy sale for a very, very long time. I've found the support staff to be friendly and efficient, you just have to understand that it's a slow, not fully automated process. The absolute minimum payment time, if your domain was not originally at Godaddy, is 17 days.

As a test, I tracked all of the event dates for a sale at Godaddy of a name at Enom, WITHOUT contacting Godaddy asking for payment or other assistance. It took 30 days.

The seller wasn't terribly speedy in doing things. I completed my steps with hours of asking.

Sale ended: 5/16
Payment cleared+codes sent: 5/26
Transfer approved: 6/2
Paid: 6/15

That's 29 days of interest in their pockets.

Auctions@ email is the correct one to ask about payments. They will respond in less than 48 hours. Typically it's less than a day.
