So many undercurrents ATM, anyone who buys into the MAGA nonsense, I've got a deal for you:

What MAGA nonsense? And while we are at it, please name a politician who talks sense and hasn't been drummed to the margins by their own parties. People buy into whatever crap they are told to buy into by the media - including houses they can't afford.

Jordan Peterson exposes radical leftist doctrine and social justice mob creation.
"the further society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it"
I think Peterson has helped a lot to overcome totalitarian leftist brainwashing.

MAGA or making your own country great should be a slogan for every country but America if it gets it right again could help conservative populist movements all over the world. America's interventionist and wasteful foreign policy and deepstate will need to be reigned in for that to happen.

Ron Paul converted a lot of people to conservative ideas of free market and sound money. His influence was immense, audit the fed brought representatives from both parties supporting the bill, it is unfortunate how it got blocked in the republican senate. Too bad he retired but is still active on his podcast.
The only democrat candidate that made sense, Tulsi Gabbard, was mercilessly smeared by other during her campaign.
Happy to see more new conservative republicans running, it gives hope to this struggle.

Unhinged leftist professor from canada advocating for burning down Congress. Same leftist mind frame and tactics. And the fake apology. He is also media darling:)
"Professor Macfarlane has provided non-partisan policy advice to the Government of Canada". "He regularly writes op-eds on Canadian politics for Maclean’s, the Globe and Mail, National Post, and Ottawa Citizen. He is frequently interviewed by the media, and has been interviewed by Canadian national and local newspapers, radio stations, the CBC, The New York Times, The Atlantic, and other outlets".

What MAGA nonsense you ask? The red line MAGA, a term borrowed from past presidents who likely borrowed it from Hitler propoganda. Same old rhetoric, different generation. What redeeming qualities make him worthy of leading your (not my) great nation? Okay, he's a radical departure from the dusty old boys in the GOP, but be reasonable, Trump is a follower playing to the crowd. :upsetbaby:

Define great. America is already number one, or used to be and everyone knows it, but very likely not for long. Why is that? The US has already mortgaged its future on the military. The word "mortgage" comes from the French phrase "death pledge". Selling death is the American way, at least in foreign policy as I see it. Now that the grim reaper is on home turf, how does it feel? I've watched the gradual decay for over a half century and there's no turning back now, unless...forget it, that's another chapter.

Capitalism has an insatiable hunger, supply feeding demand. Adam Smith's wasn't evil, but his ideology has morphed into a vicious cycle of keeping the masses in servitude. Man cannot live on bread alone and Socialism won't solve America's problems either, but is a necessary check when the balance of power and capital rests in the hands of the elite few (who get corrupted by greed). That divide is not likely to change, in fact, I've seen it widening. China is a great example of the type of capitalism USA exported - fake it 'til you make it. How many billions of people would have gladly changed positions ten years ago, with their numbers growing beyond the border of sustainability. Those were the glory days of the West. USA had the chance to make progress on many fronts. What happened and on who's watch? Call 911, keep fighting and bashing each other down within, foreign powers love it. :greyalien:

Why use the term GREAT? What's wrong with GOOD? Good in the sense of going out of one's way to help his brother in need. I'm not here to preach, but help shed some light on a very dark subject. Canada isn't much better, we live in the shadow of the US. I agree, any politician who doesn't tow the line is marginalized. Tulsi is a good example. She would've made a fine presidential running mate IMO, but her emmancipatory ideology flies in the face of those who want more power for themselves - and Biden is simply their straw man. They (the powers that be) fear the proletariat and use whatever means at their disposal to maintain positions of power. I could carry on, but I grow weary and my opinion won't change the way things are anyway. If you got this far, thanks for reading, God bless. :beaver:

Oh, come now. Better borrowing slogans than borrowing their actual tactics.

Define great.

Define hope and change. They are just empty slogans all politicians use.

Define great. Just kidding. But you know full well that the standard of living for most Chinese has improved dramatically because of capitalism.

I agree about Tulsi. But the powers that be have the people well trained. She is a level above most, and can't be appreciated among the current debased and deranged rants that pass for debate these days.

We'll see about that...Winter is Coming and it'll be cold, very cold. Just sayin'. Global Warming is just a fad don't you know :xf.grin:

Define hope and change. They are just empty slogans all politicians use.

Hope has a hole in it, I found freedom when I gave up hope - trust and faith - trust one's own ability to discern the truth and have the faith to accept and embrace change. Changing our mindset is probably the hardest thing we can do, especially in tumultuous times, but that is the test. Time and tide wait for no man.

Define great. Just kidding. But you know full well that the standard of living for most Chinese has improved dramatically because of capitalism.

Of course it has, US sold the farm, bought their cheap labour for short term gain. American consumerism paved, and continues to pave their way. Get people educated, not indoctrinated.

I agree about Tulsi. But the powers that be have the people well trained. She is a level above most, and can't be appreciated among the current debased and deranged rants that pass for debate these days.

Yup, no debating that score. I'll go back to fishing now. :beaver:

You're not that slick. You like to use the word paper to get visual of actual paper, like writing paper because you want people to believe masks don't work and they're silly. You link to Office Depot where none of the titles of the products call them paper masks. Make a t-shirt out of writing paper and go out in the rain, then wear a regular one out of cloth. See if you can figure out the difference.

Surgical mask are made from paper OR a blown polypropylene material that resembles paper. Typically three layers thick. You can put your finger through a surgical mask. Commonly called surgical, procedure, medical or paper mask.

You followed a rabbit hole trying to pretend "paper" or "surgical" mask were not approved mask but your source list "surgical" mask in the headline.

Do you even remember what you were arguing about ?

You guys are cancelling sports. Trump cancelling Goodyear tires. Both sides into Cancel Culture.

I don't tho.

Refusing to watch athletes promote marxist ideology isn't cancel culture. It's a personal choice.

Cancel culture is doxing, harassing a persons employer, threatening their lives.

Good example of the bubble elites live in. Unfathomable how anyone could disagree with their educated insights. Clearly called for extremist actions.

No, you are. .X. is.

btw @.X. When I watched the Cowboys the other night, they were honoring Front Line Workers. Not a bad thing, didn't affect the game.

they can use signage and put stuff on the big screens in stadiums instead of the players themselves honoring anything... the players need to completely stop bringing their personal problems to work IMO ... take the field or court ... and entertain with their talent ... while they are in uniform don’t air their personal stuff , not even in post game interviews.

What they do off their job is their business ...

until they do that .... Fuck all of them ...

Get ready for another “92% “forecast” moment. Lies. Not buying Pennsylvania;

It would decimate fracking #1 to their state gdp

Knock four to five points off of Biden's lead for biased polls and people not wanting to admit support for President Trump. imo
