Below is a look at Google trends which saw a spike from 4 to 100 for the keyword jobless in March. The number has been drifting down over the past few months. When it comes to domain names Jobless.com … [Read more...]

More proof EMDs arent exact science.

“Jobless” word too much negative Connotation
but i believe seller got a great deal.

Would not shock me if re-sell exceeds 1st time

True, and we don't know why the domain investor did nothing with the name and now sold cheap. They certainly paid a good price, I think the buyer did great.

Not all EMDs are equal. I think the negative meaning makes it much less valuable.

My opinion of course.

I can see it as a financial services business helping those who have become unemployed. A job site, possibly a gig economy based site. A blog, focused on employment, benefits, etc...

For $2,500 compared to some of the crap I see daily on Namebio I think it was a good buy.

Unemployed.com sounds better than jobless.com.

Subjective, I know.

Jobless.com is a great name and can easily be used for something positive. That's a steal.

I predict that the name would increase the value in the future, when the owners plan to develop seriously rather than only hold for long time

My simple formula = Build + Giving Free Service + Attract Paid Advertiser

Then Sell After 1 Years

I do this for my 5- 10 domain names every years.

It is reasonable wholesale price.. I know it is wholesale because It was sold at Flippa which means 99% it was sold to a reseller.

I immediately thought of insurances for people in case they might lose their job in the future. Only one customer could already amortize the investment.
