Just viewed DNJournal report. As usual there so many sales on Sedo.com as in all previous reports. I get a confusion:

Why many domains sales comes from Sedo than from other venues?
How do you sell your domains there?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
maybe because they are one of the oldest marketplace out there?

have more domains from seller & recognized as parking site by buyers, than other marketplace

It's not that Sedo has the most sales (because they don't).

It's because the other venues don't report their sales to DNJournal.

Because they report their domain sales, unlike other marketplaces like Godaddy or Dan, that keep their sales private.
Soon Godaddy will start reporting their top 20 domain sales:

Other venues like NameJet sometimes too big list on Dn Journal reports, other Snapnames or Uniregistry and others rarely. It is means that sellers inform about domain sale (regarding SnapNames, Uniregistry)?

Namejet is an auction site, no end user sales there, although they do sell many good domains for big amounts.
Snapnames the same. Uniregistry was reporting their sales until Godaddy bought them. But they will start again reporting their sales, into the top 20 Godaddy domain sales report, if I am not wrong.

There is a simple answer. Sedo publicly announce their sales over $2000 (unless an optional privacy fee has been paid), whereas Afternic and DAN do not routinely report sales (there is recently an opt-in provision at DAN).

So we don't really know how number of sales at marketplaces compare, as only some of them report their sales.
