Ok, my pain is your gain. You guys who already know this don't need to comment.
After 40-50 mins adding domains 1x1 (one by one) through the afternic interface, I got a server timeout (their session timeout doesn't seem to register activity on their interface), and had to log in again. All work lost.
1. Use the option to download a list of your domains with the csv (comma separated values format). Excel isn't giving me an option for the 'paste in special' for csv files and so everything is pasted in the first cell on different lines sooo...
2. Use an online conversion tool like convertio.co to convert it to excel format
Now you have a nice template with everything in the correct cell format to work with and add your domain names and prices. You can then upload this when it is ready.
