XR can be X Reality or Extended Reality.

Either way it describes the spectrum just like mixed reality.

Been looking around and shopping for a while now, saw many companies choosing to rebrand to xr or just starting with xr in their names..

Those are only some of my findings that are already developed (there are many more undeveloped by major companies like unity/sony etc..)

Decide for yourself.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Got very few XR\VR names but would like you guys thought on a recent buy:

iXR.io

I kind of estimate it should be a mid 5-fig if it were a .com, am I right? But no clue what should I price it at for the .io.

Also if anyone is interested in making an offer on it, please do, but am not looking to sell cheap though. Min wholesale price would be in high XXX range.

I dropped this name...coz I had lot of .io names ,so dropped it with dozen of .io..
Best of luck.

Anyone else remember when the iPhone Xr was unleashed? XR (reality) articles on google news were essentially buried, unless you added an additional search term to narrow the results. At the time, there were some who believed this was the end of XR as we knew it.

Now (2 yeas later), on google news, the tides have turned back and the term is more popular than ever. This is a testament to the staying power and widespread adoption of XR as an umbrella term, imo. Hang on to your good ones.

Some of us will make 6 figures.Be patient.👍🙏.And some of us will have equity with our names 🙂.

No clue but I searched and its surely big for whoever bought it. Hope seller got a good deal 🤞.I won't sell cheap though.

Not selling my good ones for less than 6 figures. Holding long term until they need their upgrade 😁👍.

Don't rush to sell cheap. If you get an offer, research and negotiate higher,if they want it so bad, trust me they would pay.You hold the ace.

I have read about a Domainer who mentioned how e held a future tech and made a big hit out of it,buying a house .You can do it too.Long term pays .

Just have a back up if you need cash, so you don't buckle and sell cheap. When the time comes,I would prove it.

Some of us with guts will hit it big in this niche.(filter out the negativity, stay positive )

Action speaks louder than words.

“PIXO, an extended reality (XR) solutions company in Royal Oak, on Tuesday launched a new platform that for the first time manages virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) applications with a single, cloud-based system.”

How soon before they switch to pixoXR...? :xf.wink:

Well it's available so apparently they aren't thinking about it now. But they have a trademark on the root brand PIXO, so think this would be a bad faith registration.

I see other companies using pixo. And from their mark,I don't see xr mentioned but vr.I wonder why.

Better they launch on pixo.com.

Thanks @NextGen Brand @xr reality @Domainsyrup @Kingslayer for the support! You all have amazing names from the first wave of this niche and I wanted to instill confidence in this community that the payouts will come for these deserving keyword names. Strong hands! I'll announce another 5k VR sale in six months.

Props to @Bernard Wright and @XR.DOMAINS who called this sale before it happened. Bernard posted about the buyer on this thread in back in February. XR.domains emailed me that it was underpriced, and he is right. This was a 10 - 20k name in a few years.

Thanks to the haters @Woke Monkey @seodavid08 for the smiles and feeling I, like others here like Elad and @rafaelo0, could do what many think impossible. Also, @xr reality is correct, the SEDO listing isn't even associated with my account. This sale was already verified by Namebio before I posted... see it on tomorrow's top ten list!

Congrats on the sale @Pazu great sale (y)

Your right the name could reach 20k in a couple of years easily but in the current stage 5800$ was a good sale.

I think i bought earthxr.com back in 2018 i knew that domain would sell for big bucks, a while back i had a problem with my bank so my auto renewals got an error and some good gems (especially in XR) got cancelled last year and i only found out a couple of months ago >:( Just goes to show you always have to keep an eye on your portfolio even if you have the auto renewal on.

But at least it was caught and sold by a fellow domainer who believes in XR :xf.smile: i saw the sale on namebio and recently found out it was you sold it my mind was blown

Keep up the good work and in my opinion 3 years from now XR will be more mature and top XR domains will start to sell for 20k range.

Looks like you drop caught it yourself. Nice. I wasn’t into drop catching as early as I should have been.
