Hi All,
It was yesterday, I was doing my browse through GoDaddy Auctions and saw SAV.com was put on sale with $499 buy now price. I knew this is not possible but wanted to make the buy. I made a payment and I had won the domain.
Hours later I get an email from Capri ( After Market support) saying "It has come to our attention that the seller of sav.com will not be able to complete the transaction as agreed, as they no longer own the domain. We have taken action against the seller's account for violating Terms of Service and have issued you a refund for the purchase of this domain. The refund will be processed to the original payment method used.
You are free to pursue this domain further on your own by researching the current owner of the domain with a public WHOIS search. GoDaddy considers the matter closed and has no further involvement."
But how can GoDaddy allow auction of domains without ownership proven? Also this domain is registered in GoDaddy. Also I think the domain was listed to sale yesterday since I had done a similar search a day before, I don't think remember seeing this listing. I have no confidence on GoDaddy Auction now. Any feedback/suggestion or experience?
