The purpose of a lockdown is to buy time to build capacity, especially with respect to hospitals, learn more about the disease and develop effective treatments as we did in the United States.

Yup, it does. Nature is cyclical. It's just by burning fossil fuels and releasing the carbon that has been stored in the earth since the age of dinosaurs brings about change far more rapidly...that is, if you believe in dinosaurs, lol.

An ice sheet the size of Manhattan disappeared in northern Canada last week. This region hasn't been this hot in the last 115 000 years! Antarctica's ice sheet is melting 3 x faster han predicted.

Good for you, but you need to do more in that part of the world... where the major polluters are.

Besides China, you have to do the same in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Russia, all of Africa, and lots of work to do in Central and S. America as well.

The people of Europe and North America are very aware of pollution, even though they need to improve... but the main problem are those countries I listed, because a large part of their populations don't care too much about the pollution they create...

Science can't accurately predict the weather for more than a week in the future. The best they can do is give you "probable" changes / paths of a huricane. Can only warn about tornados, etc.

Weather and climate change are to complicated, to many variables, interactions, reactions to model using a computer.
