strategy LLLLL.com negotiating

I had an email from a registrar saying that someone offered me US$5k for my domain p***i.com. I had originally listed it on there about a decade ago. (I bought the domain at auction in about 2009).

Before I even think about selling the domain I was trying to find sales history for similar domains and other people's thoughts on the pricing of it.

I'm not desperate for the money and other NNNN.com domains I have held on to, just not sure where to sit with this 5l.com.

Any input would be appreciated.

Samer, I edited the name. Do you think it should be removed so this can't be found on search engines or because GoDaddy are always looking on here?

If / When they see the “yes” imo..
they may change thei mind; generous 1st offer!
This is a “good problem” to have.

You were reckless. PM trusted members it!
I’m sure many would echo me, if real offer.
Can try haggle, but i’d be content profit of offer;
All your points are valid, just think hit jackpoint.
Whatever you decide to do moving forward;
grateful you edited name out when you did;
i say TAKE IT based on my evaluation;
valuation is subjective. Good luck! (i’d take it)

I didn't get to see the name, but I'd say $5k is pretty good for a name of this type. You could try and get them up a couple of thousand if you like haggling, but there would need no harm at all in accepting a $5k offer. Good luck.
