Luckily a mutual friend of mine on LinkedIn was kinda enough to share with me that he sold the .com a few years back for a good price and would probably be almost double now, found out by accident when I approached him asking what value he would put on .com (so I could apply 10% +- on .co didn’t don’t kow he previously sold it lol.

For a 2 worded .co he and another, heavily into the gambling/betting niche said it was a great pickup.

Not gonna spend much on .co even though they are a dollar each.

my .co acquisition, I'll price them cheap at say 100-299 $ because this will only be an experiment, i don't do .co prior to this

Not that I've seen. If you are a member of the DDC (Discount Domain Club) at Godaddy it slightly reduces the price, but not by much. It doesn't make them close to what a "regular" .CO registration would be. Other registrars may have similar discount plans; I don't know.

It seems most everything worthwhile is premium now. The other day, as I was searching, I ran across a two-word .CO that was premium. That's just ridiculous.

Not even sure what the logic is. It is as if it is better than .com
But then there are some gems in the premium. If they can be sold for 3-4K, no harm paying 100+ but then the sell through need to be extra high.

This was sold for peanuts but only because it was hand regged for 4.88 at SAV and I kept at the SAV marketplace for 95 because I don't have high hopes for hand regs from dropped stream and it was snapped up in 3-4 days.
People do buy .co buddy

Examples? Are they listed as Premium Listings? Does GoDaddy ever auction off their own domains?

I sold a couple more at 2500$ and several at recent sedo auction for 99 each. I'll announce some names once yesterday's sale clears payment.

I don't see a great pattern of keywords yet.
But having 20+ tlds taken. And the .com taken and developed seems to help for end user resorting to the .co

They purchased several large portfolios on the last few years. These probably were a small part of one these portfolios. I don't think they are are directly investing in .co. This is just my opinion, I may be wrong of course.

20 tlds taken and .com developed seem to be an algorithmic criteria now for automatically make a .co reg premium at drop.. So no hand reg possible at all

as promised few of recent sales. I might of mentioned one before not sure.

Sedo .co auction , broker contacted me to list one ,
then I offered to view my portfolio and they put 35 of mine in auction of just 100 total or so lol
I was over 30% of the entire sedo auction , i found funny.
sold 7 .co domains there for 100 or little over each.

and 2 others.


BTW - I noticed 1 on 1 has 8$ renewals on , tough decision given I did around 10k on my 500 .co's past 10 months. with another 4k+ failed due to TM concerns of buyers.

Should I renew the 480 domains at 3900$ ? , debating. will a quality .co portfolio rise extensively in 2021

or maybe sell as bulk lot at 20 each , both tempting. < contact if curious to chat on this.
