We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

Am I the only one who can't add domains to Afternic Fast Transfer? It's been like that for me for several days. :'(
You're not, our team have been working with Afternic to have the problem resolved, but we don't have an ETA on when it will be resolved unfortunately. At this time the domains should be showing as needing confirmation within your Dynadot account, however the confirmation is failing when submitted. We'll update the thread when we have more information on that. We're sorry for any trouble the bug is causing.

Something so familiar here... the same happened with SedoMLS some time ago (SSL issue). Was discussed in this thread in June. As a matter of curiosity: 1) does Afternic connection have similar (ssl) problem? 2) Is it related with https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2020/06/02/the-mystery-of-the-expiring-sectigo-web-certificate/ ?

Our engineers haven't advised us of any SSL issues, however I will bring that up previous issue up with our engineering team to ensure nothing was overlooked, thank you.

I have forgotten the answer to the security question. Is there any way to resolve the issue and unlock my account without having to submit government-issued photo ID? I have had a mail from DD accounts which said:

"I'm sorry, but the secret answer you have provided for your secret question is incorrect. Before we can set your birth date to the correct date, we will need to verify your identity as the account-holder. Please send us a copy of your government-issued photo ID (drivers license or passport).

I'm sorry to hear that, unfortunately this isn't something we could help with via Namepros. We'd just need to ask you to contact our account management team at [email protected] and they would be able to advise further on that.

Hello, a debit was made in my local bank and it was you guys that charged it, I can't remember ordering anything and no recipt was issued. Can you guys at least show me what order that completed or refund my money.

Dynadot team: nearly every other major registrar is available when we need them.

At Dynadot, I often see "Chat: Busy" and cannot reach support for hours.

Please be available for urgent situations.

Dynadot also goes down for "regularly scheduled maintenance" too often.

Like now.

A registrar that prides itself on UX/UI should focus on 100% uptime.

Scheduled maintenance should not interrupt the service! We all know amazon .com for example - they have extremely complicated database and a bunch of transactions each and every minute, no doubts they perform backups and upgrades, but their website is always online! So, it is possible not to shut the service down in order to perform any type of maintenance...

In domains field, they only registrar I've dealt with who has/had similar issues (unavailable login area and/or delayed tasks) is... netsol (sorry about mentioning this name).

I'm not sure if there's any imminent plans to add those options for our payouts unfortunately, but I will pass the request on to our team. Our team are currently looking into have Payooner added as a payment method however.

Any updates on Payoneer integration?

Do you have to pass a reading comprehension test to work in Dynadot support?

I know some 5th graders who could do a better job than some of those currently handling Dynadot support tickets.

Prediction: Dynadot won't win best registrar again.

I'm sorry to hear that, we have recently expanded our customer service team in each of our offices to allow us to provide better coverage, however our new team members are still training at the moment. You should start to see better support coverage across all time zones in the coming months however, as our new agents progress through their training.

The problem doesn't only lie with that representative.

There is a problem with policy that only management can address.

Please don't use that customer support rep as a scapegoat.

Management has some ethically concerning profit making policies to address. Point blank, if a customer used #DontBeACrook in feedback, it would be incredibly naive to think that customer is the only one with that opinion. And just because Dynadot ToS may allow for predatory profiteering off their customers mistakes, that fine print in itself doesn't inherently dismiss any/all ethical wrongdoing, or shortfall..

You also ignored my last order for Le-B/o/u/t/i/q/u/e.com total 3 orders via PayPal was not finished. Anyone have similar issues with Dyna payments through PayPal?

I tried to use your free website builder but it just not working on the last step choosing a payment plan clicking on button FREE nothing happens page not reloading website not published.

Thanks though for com offers re-registration.

I'm sorry to hear you were unable to get through to our team, we have had more agents available since you posted and you should be able to get through to our team at the moment if you'd like to chat with us. Unfortunately we didn't receive any payment for the order submitted for Le-B/o/u/t/i/q/u/e.com yesterday and so were unable to register the domain, if that was submitted through Paypal it may be that they were unable to process the payment.

Our team haven't made any changes from our end to NO-J/U/S/T /I/C/E.com so that domain should have been forwarding correctly. I see that the domain is no longer using our forwarding service so wouldn't be able to determine the issue with the domain forwarding unfortunately.

In regards to the website builder, you should be able to add a new website to your account by clicking the blue 'Create Website' here, and following the steps until the website builder loads:

You may need to allow a few moments after clicking 'Free' when choosing the pricing plan for the editor to load. If you're unable to add a website builder to your account please let our team know by live chat or at [email protected] and they'll be able to help troubleshoot that further.
