Well I am depressed after i bought this domain name AceStake.com .I bought it because i thought ..its two english words and it would be a good steal.When i saw AceTech.com sold for $84k i got pumped up with excitment that my domain will sold one day.but the truth is different, the domain is good..these are english words anyone can acquire the domain but i got depressed by doing a lot of outbound.Tried in different fields like poker and investment business.. some of the big investment firms never replied to my emails that made me feel bad and the godaddy and estibot value is depressing also.how can a system know at which value its going to sell..the price is discuued by human ..the buyer and seller as per their theory VacationRentals.com could be a domain of less than 100 bucks .one day I thought the domain i have no value.The domain can be used in different business because the words have different meanings.

Shit on Godaddy & Estibot appraisals. I sold 2 domains this year for 13k and they appraised them for less than 3k. So follow your gut feeling and dont give up.

We all make mistakes. Buy more carefully. If you are trying to sell here do so in the right forum.

Also AceTech selling or Ace anything doesn’t mean any ace name will sell. You have to ask yourself who would want this name before you buy it. Outbound is often fruitless so if you are going to do it you better get used to that.

I think the problem here is that while the two words are poker terms, people simply don't use that phrase.

VacationRentals has value because that is the way people say it.

Is english your first language?

it takes many or most domainers months or even years to even begin to see profits... domaining is hard work... and exact opposite of quick easy money,, even though most of us all thought its just that. gl

Remember that most domain names, even many good ones, do not sell for many years. It is unfortunate, but, with obvious exceptions, the way it usually is.

I am not sure how long you have held the name, and don't know the gambling niche, so can't comment on whether it is good or bad, but one indicator will be at the end of the year how many inquiries you get on the name.

A way to look at value is to look on NameBio for sales where ace was the prefix - here is the list. Then order that list by price. Then, with a knowledge of poker that I do not have, try to see where this name would fit on that list. That is where are there about half the names that sold for less that are not as good as this name. That might indicate price range expectations roughly.

Your inquiries might suggest whether probability of sale is more or less than the 2% per year typical in the .com overall domain sales.

Its possible that the domain AceStake has more value than expected as a result.
