I wish China would muscle in on my domains

Invest is an amazing domain name, I saw it the other day when browsing through Sedo's brokerage team list of domains they are representing:-

https://sedo.com/uk/buy-domains/sedos-exclusive-broker-domains/

I guess Sedo's brokerage contact for 'invest' expired and the owner is going a different route and Sedo hasn't removed it yet.

I'm curious how do you arrange a private auction? Obviously some respectable organization must host this auction to avoid shills, I know Fashion dot com got sold this way.

That was the intention, but fashion.com was actually sold privately before the auction took place.

Would still be interested in how private domain auctions work though and which company/companies are in control of the auction.

From memory, a group of european friends/business partners who had owned it for decades, organised the private pre-registration auction through Escrow.com, but the domain sold prior to that date.

Don't worry about that much,
We just need to invest in our domain name
