A while ago I wrote a post on DN Playbook that if you mainly sell on domain forums then you are doing something wrong.

However, selling on forums like Np has its place and purpose. It allows you to turn your inventory (and make you some income or at least compensate for some of your investment). And, more importantly, it can be a source of hidden gems for buyers.

So post the best domains you acquired through NamePros.

I will start. There are at least a few. But I will start with one.

Nope, the buyer never developed it.

Wow. It's a great domain. But to invest such a large sum and then to never use boggles my mind a little.

Every name here is a best name:
- All are one word dictionary
- All are pronounceable especially LLLL.com
- All have high appraisal value from Estibot and Godaddy
- All are BB or Squadhelp approved
- All have the best price on earth. Check the wanted to buy section and you will see.

And the list goes on....

Not if 90k for him/her is like $20 for you. It's all relative.

A great investment with that word.

Maybe end user (company) then decided upon another name.

In terms of profit ratio.

I bought raised.co.uk for about $25 and sold it 7 days later for about $700.

Not the biggest profit I've made off a domain from NP, but as a ratio it was great.

I have bought many names here on NP (probably over 1000) and successfully sold many elsewhere.

Just today I acquired WellCampus.com here on NP. I recently acquired vdyo.com which I am very fond of. I have had several offers for it already.

I also recently acquired wfhnet.com (work from home). Interesting thing there is that I paid just $10 for it. A week or so later, the seller reached out because he forgot to remove it from Sedo and it sold....for much more. I rejected it and will work on getting more.

I spend a lot of time looking through the auction threads here on NP....for my health of course. :)

zo0.com and Lsk.net but lsk.net was a stolen domain so i had to give it up. ty. :)

Brand bucket will take around 40% of the sale price. So the owner will walk away with less than 90k, if it sells at all. Also, it's been 15 years since the purchase, so taking into account investment opportunities that 90k could have been put towards during that period, plus inflation, I don't think it was a great buy - although an amazing sale.

NAS in the king. This was 2-3 years ago and I still own it. The price expectation is such that my kids will probably control it when I’m dead lol.

Why are you not a “PRO” Keith?
I meet the criteria but there are too many hoops to jump thru. Not worth the time.

I bought vSewa (.com) in November 2019 with another two domains, all for $10, so $3.33 each. Costs $8.76 to transfer out. Sold yesterday on Dan for BIN of $195.

I didn't think it was a great name but took it as part of the package. I would have dropped it on expiry.

Sewa means service in Hindi, so could be Virtual Service.

I also bough Bot *** Explorer *** .com as part of above package. So $3.33. I now have it listed on Brandpa.
