Hi, my first sale on Sedo. In the transfer center I received the following message:
The buyer has submitted payment to our account and requested an invoice including VAT (if applicable). Please create an invoice with the full amount XXXX USD and upload it in the Transfer Documents section or send us the invoice by fax to [number here]

Kindly note that all sales prices negotiated through the Sedo marketplace are considered to be end prices for the buyer including the VAT valid for the Seller.

I never provided invoices before. Has anybody provided this invoice?
Do you have a sample for this document please?

Thanks!

I guess you are not a company, so just tell Sedo you are a private seller and you can't legally issue an invoice. I always replied this to them as domaining is a private investment not my main business and never issued one.

Buyer is the one requesting the invoice from the seller.

Sedo does not issue invoices
https://sedo-us1.custhelp.com/app/a...t-an-invoice-for-the-domain-name-i-purchased?

It is part of the transfer process. You don't know how the seller will react if you refuse to issue an invoice.
I would generate a simple invoice per the examples provided earlier.

I always get an invoice every time I ask for it.

"
4.2 Remitting Payment
If you require an invoice or tax information (such as a form W-9) related to the purchase and sale agreement, you shall inform Sedo of this requirement prior to remitting payment. Sedo shall communicate the request to the Seller as Sedo is not a party to the purchase and sale agreement and cannot furnish those documents. You agree that you shall not portray Sedo as the Seller of the Domain to any third party.

5.2 Payment
You agree to provide an invoice and tax information (such as a form W-9) if requested by the Buyer. In addition to being a material breach of this Agreement, failure to cooperate may be considered by the Buyer as a material breach of the purchase and sale agreement. You hereby agree that Buyer may delay remitting payment until you provide the requested documents.

If we sell on Sedo, we agree to these terms/policies.

" just tell Sedo you are a private seller and you can't legally issue an invoice"
- thus interesting, never thought sellers had problems issuing invoices. Next time, I buy a domain on Sedo, I will ask for an invoice before paying to avoid complications.

Yes, I am not a company. I don't know if I could legally issue an invoice, but I used invoice-generator.com just to generate one as AbdulBasit suggested at https://morganlinton.com/if-you-sel...ight-want-an-invoice-heres-how-to-whip-one-up

Actually, the buyer payed before asking for the invoice. So sedo released the funds before i provided the invoice.
