I rarely do outbounding. Once an unmotivated buyer said, I won't click a link on an email. But it was just the domain, or registrar url, not a complicated url with tracking id etc. I told him, you can type it into your browser,.. and no reaction.
Elsewhere someone else (bank personnel) said the same thing..I won't click.. Again my response is the same, you can type it into Google. I wonder how common is this. Maybe most people think the same way, but they remain quiet , not to be rude..
(But I bet they would go to GD instead because it was on TV).

This is just like "don't talk to strangers" rule. it is very childish. People have false sense of security. Their phones s p y them
247/360, all their online activity is tracked, but they won't type a domain into their browser, because it is mentioned in an email.
I wonder how common this is, and how it can be cured. Number one rule for online security: disable javascript...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
once you reach a deal you can tell them to buy it off dan sedo or godaddy they will feel much safer you can't tell people how to react to things you have to respect their ways at the end of the day you need them they don't need you

i usually put the domain name in txt and never suggest they open it i just showcase the name

A lot of people won't click a link in an email. Not just potential prospects.

Do not forget that emails with links have more chance to go the SPAM folder.

Don't put links in your emails.

You can mention your Domain name along with the marketplace where you have listed the domain.

You should change the name servers to that lender so prospects can directly reach there by typing your domain in a search bar.

Most likely as not never even see the email. I've tried out bounding to real estate agents many times. I've never once had an actual reply, from a human being, all I've ever got were automated responses ie clearly nobody had actually read the email, then get bombarded by emails with available properties.

info@ and contact us forms usually get automated replies

They say they wont click. But if you made a nice button graphic and format your outbound email nicely, they probably will. That's the power of user interface and design :xf.wink:

I bought some names recently with specific end users in mind, as they did not have .com. Then sendt out e-mails, but with a link to my domain name.

No response, so mostly in spam folder I think.

To my surprise, one of the probable end users forgot(?) to renew his current name and it was caught by some one else. He operates on a blogspot name now.

Hey, K******, I only asked for 2K , buddy. :(

that would be over the top with outbound emails
i think just notifying them that the name is for sale and displaying it as "noneisnone(.)com" is enough
