Curious to hear how the first half of 2020 might have affected your domain buying (and selling) habits.

Buying more? Selling more? Changes in what domain names or extensions you might invest in and how?

New technology trends and buying/purchase habits post pandemic is definitely affecting my decisions.

Good question @Way3 ... I have been more selective in registering or buying names over the last 6 months, and have been actively trimming my portfolio to reduce overhead.

Yes,. I can see how overhead reduction would be a consideration. I've invested in domains for client branding for years, but have only been investing in them for the purpose of selling in the past year, so I think my perspective is still growth in spite of the current climate.

Only 10 months in so still in growth mode. But even in spite of that I think this is the time to be buying if you can.

Sales are up for comparable period for last 3 years. I am much more selective as far as acquisitions...actively purging lowest tier domains and raising prices on all others.

Purchases are increasing online and brick and mortars have to make the transition in a serious way or face bankruptcy...therefore they must pay for EMD and/or industry relevant domains.

A year from now, things will likely be very different...maximize profits now.

I'm buying domain names (.com) right and left like it's going outta style! Some great deals out there in my beginners opinion. Only 3 months in so I'm in growth mode!

aggressive buying via. outbound, keeping hold of only .com & cctld. on the selling side, not much except making sure all landers have instalments enabled.

I'm buying only .COM domains (non-premium) & established sites for myself and clients.
The budget for the same is down though. We can approximate 15%-20% reduction.
But I'm having many inquiries about starter websites since pandemic. It seems individuals want to invest some money in make quick adsense income?
